Haru's hands again coursed with negative energy, and a bolt of blackness shot out toward the ogre magi. Not even waiting to see the result, Haru swung with his chain, again coursing with electricity, keeping his distance (OOC: Reach weapons ftw). He aimed for the legs, hoping to trip the great beast.

Spate's spear and Nakuni's bolt fly off of the OgreMage's armor as it pings off dealing no damage. Nakuni's flask explodes but this time hits the ground as opposed to him dealing half the prescribed damage.

Haru goes forth with his daring gambit, but both of his spells fizzle against the Ogre's evil aura. Haru then tries to trip the Ogremage, but fails by a very very small margin.

Haru decided to forgo any further attempts at finesse and control, and simply meet the ogre's own game head on. Whirling his chain with a new found determination, Haru struck, spinning about for a second attack quickly after.
