GLoG XLVI: With a Maraschino Cherry On Top.

Entering the room and thinking Acacia is about to attack, Wolfbane's hand slips to his hammer, readying it. He tilts his head towards DC and raises an eyebrow, asking her if he should...take care of him.

Misaki hangs back a little, confused about the scene.

Ooooh, wouldn't Acacia just love to sic Wolfbane on the nasssty wizard who had humiliated her. Wolfy would tear that awful man limb from limb. She almost grins to think of it.

But instead, she straightens, lowering her weapon from the ready position - a clear signal that she does not intend to fight. She would never ever do anything that would put her Wolfy in danger. The wizard might be unpleasant, but he wasn't an immediate threat, and it was never a good idea to attack a wizard without a damn good reason.

Misaki steps forward as the situation defuses. "Um, is everything alright?"

[UncleWolf]

[Labs]

Wolfbane nods and puts his weapon away. "I'm sure everything is fine."

[happyturtle]

"Of course," Acacia says, with a smile that doesn't meet her eyes. "I was just showing the wizard here one of my acrobatic tricks."

[Darkcomet]

[Lab]

DC snaps out of his player-awayness-induced mini-deadtime.

"We just had a misunderstanding involving someone sneaking around. Isn't that right?" He glances towards Acacia.

[Labs]

"Wizard?" Misaki's ears perk up; that sounds exciting!

[happyturtle]

"A simple misunderstanding," Acacia agrees. Sadly, her player deadtimes now, but she will either be on auto-follow to Wolfbane or auto-be-escorted-from-the-premises by Darkcomet, whichever seems appropriate.

DC rolls his eyes as Misaki says that. "Psychic would be more accurate."

[Neon Knight]

[Labs]

Misaki's ears droop a little bit. "Oh."

[Darkcomet]

[Labs]

"I manage. Now, I have something else to attend to."

DC assigns two level 1 security drones to follow Acacia wherever she goes so long as she's still in GLoG, then leaves, to arrive at his destination after the stuff at WATCHTOWER is finished and the plot clones can merge and stuff.

Misaki looks up at Wolfbane. "Well, that's everything."

[UncleWolf]

[Labs]

Wolfbane nods. "Thank you Misaki. Is there any way I can repay the favor?"

[Neon Knight]

[Labs]

Misaki smile sup at Wolfbane. "Oh, you don't need to thank me!"

[Reinholdt]

[Infirmary]

Butler undeadtimes.
Pretty straightforward.

He's working on reading those books again. Struggling to keep his mind wrapped around the plots would be the better phrasing though.

"Here, take this at least." Wolfbane takes a fair sized exotic looking gold coin and sets it into her hand. "What you showed me was worth it." And more he thinks.

Misaki accepts the coin. "Thank you!" She gives Wolfbane a big hug.

Quinn undeadtimes in the Infirmary...

Oh dear. It seems she just passed out.

This must be the fourth or fifth time Butler's had to take care of the DOCTOR.

Butler rushes over to Quinn and goes to lift her onto a bed and look her over to try and determine what's wrong.

Wolfbane is startled by the hug, so much so, he doesn't even respond.

[Labs]

Misaki hops back a bit and beams happily up at him. "I'm going to go back to the infirmary to talk to Butler and Quinn. You can come there if you need anything!"

[Infirmary]

Dangit Jim, she's a nurse, not a doctor!


A meddrone scan reveals that, basically, Quinn has overworked herself, being in need of food, water, and sleep...

"I'm*cough* I'm fine for now, thank you." Wolfbane will walk to the Great Room, Acacia possibly following, and deadtime.

[Neon Knight]

[Labs ---> Infirmary]

Misaki heads to the infirmary, holding her present from Wolfbane.

[Infirmary]

What the heck has she overworked on? There aren't even any patients!
*reaches through monitor and smacks Quinn upside the head since Butler's too nice to do it for me*

Butler will start setting up the appropriate nutrient IVs. And considers sedating her, but isn't sure it's a good idea with the kid.

Paperwork, that's what. *nodnod*
...and why would you sedate a person who's already unconsious?

...either way, Misaki will discover Quinn alseep/unconsious on a medbed with Butler tending to her.

Misaki eeps and dashes over to the bedside. "Oh, no! Butler, what's wrong?"

[Reinholdt]

[Infirmary]

Cause she'll wake up eventually and try to get out of bed. He's thinking a sedative IV drip.

"She's overworked herself ma'am. Almost starved herself ma'am." Now Misaki gets to learn what suicidal means!
...
Except Butler can't explain it.

Not like that. Just, essentially, she got too busy to eat...
