"Okay... Helen." Alexis just leaves it hanging there allowing a awkward silence to rest in between them. I hope she just decides this is too awkward and leaves. Then I can go, catch a few winks of sleep before making my escape.

What can I say? Guess the general public here has kind of rubbed off on me, so to speak.

DC shrugs. "Well, at least there doesn't seem to be any bitterness over my sudden departure. I half-expected the place to fall apart after I left..."

"Um... Alice, it's Alice." She diverts her eyes and looks at runner. Trying to avoid eye contact to hide the this time blatant lie. Ahh great Alice, I'm going to have to go around being called Alice whenever I show up here, this stupid succubus looks like a horrid gossip too. Soon I won't be able to escape that stupid name. Who would want to be called alice?

DC frowns. "Ah. Well... Part of me thinks no one noticed, considering how long the fact that there was a new election went practically ignored..." That still irks him, from the sound of it.

"To summarize, Czernov killed himself, temporarily forcing me into the presidential position. I quickly declared a new election to fill our vacant positions and resigned. It went almost completely ignored for a long time." DC scowls.

Maybe AlexisAlice knows the name, so she doesn't go further in on details..

She does, but doesn't even seem to care. "That's nice I guess. I think I may go catch a bit of shut eye. Try and sleep." In other words leave me alone you crazy whore. I didn't really want to talk to you in the first place.

I'm glad Helen didn't try to read the mind of her.

Helen walks towards the pool.

Probably a good thing, Alexis wasn't all that fond of mind readers either. As well her mind is overall just screwed up from all the crap she's been through.

Alexis walks off towards the kitchen to get something strong to drink. Maybe they have some stuff here, she never bothered to look before.

Alexis head to her room to sleep. Wow last time I was here... I.. well me and Dani... No just forget about it. Sleep I need to sleep. and sleep she does though it's hardly what one would call fitful.

Well, I guess that Helen is still swimming.

Alex is here, practicing with his whip.

Alexis walks in there looking for him. But she stops and watches him curiously. She'd never really seen him use it before.

He hasn't had too much need to use it before.
...and Alex looks a tad rusty, but is still making the punching bags dance as the whip cracks, then cracks again. And again!

She gives off a whistle from her spot behind him.

One final crack, then Alex turns to Alexis with a grin, coliling the whip, and bows. "I really should have brought along my great-grandfather's fedora.."

I'm sure it looks great on you. She walks up and kisses him.

Alex returns the kiss happily, hugging Alexis* tight for a minute before stepping back with a happy smile. "It looks better on him, I'll admit. I'm a little skinny to pull off the trenchcoat-and-fedora look."
