"Of all the creatures attracted to me, why did it have to be a dragon?" Drifter cries. "I've already had to deal with one!"

Drifter goes through several doors, staying a step ahead of the Dragon behind him.

"You will learn to treat a lady with respect, mister!" the Dragon yells back.

"Come on, come on... where is that book?" Drifter mutters.

Ash steps inside and sets Brenda down, though trying to give her a kiss first.

They are at some length followed by the other 18 people, I would imagine.

"Or maybe that's all just propaganda and things actually are terrible. Except we came by on our way here. It was fine."

Brenda kisses Ash back happily as she's set down, then looks at the group with a lopsided smile.

"...I think we're gonna need a bigger cake."

Chuckling, she heads torwards the kitchen!



Val, meanwhile, shakes her head bemusedly. "So, things are horrible, except where they're not, then?"

[Recaiden]

Ash goes to help with the cake. Though not everyone is going to be eating it, silly Brenda.

"Oh, we're just often contradictory. Comes with the territory. Things are probably about how they always are."

Despite the kobold's lack of consciousness, it doesn't impair the arm-construct's willingness to tickle.

However, I am wondering why X has not posted yet.

Outside

Violet stands up, and looks at the gate. What's taking so long? she wonders. Maybe she'll have to come up with an alternate entrance.

She had to make the quote.

Brenda smiles happily and pulls a massive wedding cake from the fridge, and hands Ash a knife!
"I believe it's traditional for the groom to cut the cake. I'm not sure if that's me or you, so you get to do it..."

Val chuckles bemusedly and joins the others at the kitchen.

((And I'm about to fall asleep in my chair. So, g'nite. ))

"How about both of us, then?" Ash tries to take Brenda's hand and cut the cake with it.

And some sort of celebration ensues.
