I'm actually living with one of my brothers who I picked up within my first month of high-school. Only had one girl try to adopt me like that, and something about her realizing she was a sexual creature and hitting me over the head with a vibrator put a strain on that so we don't really talk anymore.

She sort of reminds me of that line about Benedick in Much Ado about Nothing, where every month he had a new sworn brother... In retrospect...

The girl I like/am dating was entered in a modelling contest, and lost. It was online vote-able, but they said voting didn't affect the judges decision. Still, we got her up to first and held her there for a while, until some girl botted her way over her. And then claimed not to be a gamer or computer savvy, despite it being a video game contest. And then gushing about how much she loves video games in her victory speech. Rawr. -_-

Mostly, am just annoyed, 'cause I know how much my friend put into that contest, and the other girl looked like she gave it no effort at all. *sighs*

So, just a random *blarg* moment. I was running a bit late to work tonight, and the rain extended my tardiness from 15 minutes to 30. No big deal, right? It's DC, it happens sometimes, even in the middle of the night. Only...

... I got in before my coworker did, meaning that someone from the previous shift had to stay an extra half hour past shift change because there was no one here to relieve her.

She was not pleased. I am not pleased. I mean, I'm not so much bothered by the fact that I got in a half hour late as by the fact that, I HAVE to be the guy who's in on time because the other guy is almost never on time and usually an hour or more late.
