Template-Granting Items: Trading GP for LA

I'm a curious individual, and I'd like the input of the board as to the kinds of magic items available that grant templates/change your creature type (temporarily or continuously/permanently). They seem to be a very rare class of item, but as shown in the case of the Collar of Umbral Metamorphosis, very useful.
