Brendan, meanwhile, heads back to the table, and Ashna.

Crodelus walks out of cabin 4, shivering somewhat. within an hour he is sitting on a rock near the lake shore, staring up into the sky at a red-feathered bird of prey. For some reason he looks somewhat depressed.

Charity returns to GLoG after another alcohol fueled one night stand.

"Hehe... I told you dwarves had stamina."

"Yes. Yes you did, Ironbeard," Charity says to the dwarven ghost who has started trailing her.

"Course if it had been me, you wouldn't be able to walk for days."

"Promises, promises. Talk to me when you have a body."

The banter continues, becoming less and less forum appropriate, until she arrives at the main lodge and Ironbeard poofs away. She fumbles through her art supplies, wanting to start a sketch.

"Where the ***** is my blue?"

Brianna is looking over the infirmary.

And making a purchase list of equipment she needs.

[The Bushranger]

((Happy, you got Charity's and the ghost's colors reversed ))

Hearing Charity's shout, Brendan winces, then turns and heads in the direction of her room, leaving the dishes in the sink for now.

[horngeek]

Brianna looks up at the yell, and hurries to the source as well!

Charity is in the dining hall/ great-greatroom (as it's much bigger than the old greatroom), being far too used to civilization to sleep in an unheated cabin, especially when she spends half her nights away from home anyway. She's using one of the lower bunks, and all her art supplies are strewn out over it and a neighboring bunk as she searches for her blue pencils and paints.

Brianna should find that the infirmary is fully stocked with supplies, as the pixies intended it that way.

[Hyozo]

Crodelus hears Charity's shout, but instead of running to it's source, he stands up and begins to collect feathers that have been shed by the hawk he was watching. After a few minutes, however, he returns to the rock and resumes watching it.

Well then, her shopping list doesn't include anything!

The woman with flame-red hair looks at Charity.

What seems to be the problem?

[The Bushranger]

Brendan stops, looking over the scene. "Er...Charity? What happened?"

[horngeek]

She is from the real world, yes.

"Somebody stole all my blue pencils and paints!" Charity snarls, still searching through her belongings without success.

[horngeek]

Then she'll notice the Brianna looks Irish, and has an irish accent.

I'm now only going to specifically mention that if a character could possibly recognise that, though.

Do you want some help getting them back?

Or just new supplies?

[The Bushranger]

Brendan sighs. "We'll help you find them, although first you need to calm down and take a deep breath..."


Run, Brendan! Run!

"I want to get my hands on the **** **** who took them and wring his ***** neck!" Charity says.

[horngeek]

Listen to me. You need to calm down.

[happyturtle]

Aren't the Irish legendary for their tempers?

Charity just gives Brianna a scathing look, and starts putting her supplies back in her trunk.

[The Bushranger]

"Charity!" Brendan snaps, almost losing his own temper. "You need to snap out of it, take a deep breath, relax, and realise that that kind of attitude only makes things worse and doesn't help in the end."

Not to mention it's not very Good.

[horngeek]

Brianna has to be pushed to fly into a temper. Quite significantly. It could happen, though.

At the moment, she simply sighs. Exactly what Brendan said. You can replace the bloody supplies.

[Hyozo]

The teenage ghost's head pops up from beneath the floor. He smiles at Charity and says with mock sweetness "I love you too.", before diving beneath the floor again.

"You *****!" Charity lunges for the ghost trap, trying to hit the button in time to catch the little thief.

And hey! Being angry =/= evil!

[The Bushranger]

But wringing necks =/= good.

Brendan jumps back in surprise, hitting his head agianst the wall and slumping to the floor thudding against the wall. "Language!"

[Hyozo]

As the ghost isn't floating above the trap, he doesn't get sucked in. She should have used a Poltergust 3000.

I doubt anyone really thought that was a serious threat. Charity has never done anything even vaguely combat related in her life. If she ever manages to trap that ghost, I'll be excessively surprised. Nor is she terribly impressed to be scolded about her potty mouth by a violent killer. Fortunately for Brendan's battered self-esteem, she's too distracted to toss around accusations.

Instead, she mutters to herself, still cursing, while sketching a padlock to put on her trunk where all the supplies except her pocket sketchpad and ebony pencil is resting. "Oh, I'll get you... Just wait till I have a proton pack."

[horngeek]

Brianna sighs. Just get new pencils or something.

[The Bushranger]

No, Brendan didn't. I'm just teasin'.

And, heh.

Brendan shakes his head. "I can get some blue paint for you, if you want - and a cup of coffee, too, sooner."

[happyturtle]

"I'll go to MagMart... damn ghost... " She sighs and pushes her fingers through her hair. "Actually, coffee sounds great."

Does Brianna think art pencils are as cheap as normal pencils? Having to replace them isn't just a matter of scooping up pocket change, you know.

[The Bushranger]

Brendan frowns a little at the mention of Maganything, but nods. "I'll get a mug ready for you, then." He can actually make coffee without scalding it. "Cream and sugar?"

Hey, she writes poetry, she doesn't draw pictures!

Brianna frowns. The infirmary seems to be pretty well-stocked. I can probably work there without any more stuff.

If we're making cups of coffee, I could do with one. Just sugar for me.
