[Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes

[Hyozo]

Crodelus is just sitting outside on his rock, watching his hawk, being depressed. Hiba will walk into the Main lodge and whine though. Apparently he doesn't like the cold.

((In case anybody has forgotten, Hiba is a purple something which looks sort of like a large dog))

"Black," Charity says, and goes over to try to skritch Hiba's ears.

[The Bushranger]

Brendan gives the Large Dog Thing a curious look, nodding to Charity as he heads to the kitchen and produces the coffeepot, going to pour...

"Ah, bottom of the pot. Should be just what the doctor ordered." Chuckling for a moment, he empties the pot into the mug, then goes to take it to Charity.

[Hyozo]

Hiba will happily let Charity scratch his ears as he lies down on the floor.

Koyuki tiptoed into the main lodge as quietly as she could. However, this being her first time she tiptoed in seriousness, she tripped, mask falling of her face. Her scar was visible. She tried hiding her face with her arm, though she feared many people had already seen her face. She crawled as fast as she could to her mask, and put it back on.She then ran to her cabin, afraid.

Brianna does see.

What did the scar look like?

Koyuki popped open her mirror, removed her mask for a brief second and took a look at the vertical, curvy scar down her cheek. She sighed, then left her mask off for a while. It's not like the scar was her entire face, after all.

Brianna heads towards her cabin, and knocks on the door. Just checking if you're all right.

Infirmary

Eko undeadtimes in the infirmary, where she stands up and starts looking around. Eko is a lizardperson, nearly six foot tall, with brown scales and eyes, vertically slitted pupils, and a long tail. People who have met her before may notice that her tail isn't as long as it once was. Eko is also wearing her usual attire: a belt with an obsidian-studded club dangling from it and a bandoleer with a quiver attached. The quiver is, for once, empty.

Great Room

Defenestrate is here, pondering. He's wearing now-grubby joggers and jumper, and there's an assault rifle nearby. His hairless body is covered with purple scales, from his bald head to the end of his toes in their trainers. His facial features are entirely human, although his irises are purple behind his glasses.

[Piggyebil]

Koyuki nods. "Yeah, I'm fine." She responded.

[horngeek]

Why did you run away like that after tripping over? Is it the scar on your face?

My name's Brianna, by the way.

[The Bushranger]

Hey, she writes poetry, she doesn't draw pictures!

Brianna frowns. The infirmary seems to be pretty well-stocked. I can probably work there without any more stuff.

If we're making cups of coffee, I could do with one. Just sugar for me.

((Missed this, HG, you can presume Brendan gave Brianna a cup with sugar too. ))

Yeah, I try to keep it a secret.

Well, Briana. It's nice meeting you. My name is Koyuki.

Brianna thanked Brendan for the coffee, earlier.

Now, she sips it. Brianna. Two 'n's.

And... that scar's nothing to be ashamed of.

Okay, Brianna it is. Koyuki said. She sighed. Maybe her scar was nothing to be ashamed of.

Infirmary

"Hi. I haven't seen you in a while, how are you?" She asks, pleasantly.

Let's just say someone wasn't in a very good mood...

She sits down beside Koyuki. Well, I don't think it makes you look any less attractive, really.

What does Koyuki look like without the mask?

Her face is somewhat pale, she has brown eyes, and usually smiles. Plus the scar. XD

Infirmary

"I am fine, thank you. Sslightly cold, and the tip of my tail got ssomething I've been told iss called 'Frosst-Bite', sso it fell off. How are you?" Poor arboreal-dwelling lizardperson from a pre-fire society. Although, if you have built a village in the tree-tops because lower down there's not enough room for a mouse to maneouvre then fire is a Bad Idea.

Well, you do look pretty, even with a scar. All right?

[Piggyebil]

Alright. Koyuki said. She nodded.

Well, it could be worse.

[horngeek]

So, how did you come here, Koyuki?

"Is it healthy now?" Susan asks with concern. "You wouldn't want it to continue rotting."

[Piggyebil]

Koyuki chuckled. It's a long story...

((Deadtime.))

Brianna leaves the cottage, and goes back to setting up the infirmary to her liking!

Infirmary

"The Gekko tail iss dessigned to fall off when grassped too tightly; it preventss predatorss from ssnacking on a whole Gekko. It wass merely removed from one of thesse pointss below the infection. I regret that my particular clan do not alsso regenerate our tailss like ssome." And that's something true geckoes do too; including the regeneration. Some skinks have the same ability.

On Brianna's way to the infirmary, she may see the Hawk that Crodelus has been watching swoop down to catch a rabbit near the center of camp, shedding some of its feathers in the process. When this happens, Crodelus will head over to collect those feathers. When he draws near Brianna he'll say "Hello." in a rather depressed tone.
