Magtok flinches as some other phone starts ringing, and impulsively reaches for the gun he keeps handy in his robes, which isn't there today because he came unarmed as a show of peace and goodwill and junk. By the time Susan answers it, he calms down, and decide to sit on a bed and not think about shooting things for a little while.

She closes her eyes, trying to dull out the pain as she waits.

Avatar is about to point out that he really isn't well equipped at the moment to remove the fish from Helen, but suddenly!

Helen vanishes!

Leaving a trout flopping in the snow.

The eagle rolls his eyes. "Oi... Stupid magic..."

And with that he descends off his branch and goes hopping through the snow toward his fish. "Great. Now I'm going to have to get you up in the air again."

The fish gasps at the freezing air, slowly suffocating.

"Don't you give me that look!" scolds the bird. "I'll bet you've eaten all sorts of other smaller fish and frogs and bugs and stuff. I'm totally not going to feel bad about picking your flesh off."

He hops onto the trout, sinking his talons into it and readying himself to take off again.

Oh. Hi, um, nurse? She turns back to Helen, a strange look on her face. So, what's your name? Mine's Krysta. I'm with the emergency teleport team here. Actually, I might be the only one.

"He's been shot!" Susan says. "Should we send a someone over to get him to the infirmary?" She asks, looking around the room for her jacket.

"SEEEP!" Brendan flies up to avoid being grabbed! He does follow Ashna, though.

"Yay!" Dani grins and goes to stand up. "Sorry I almost tripped over you there...say, are those tattoos?"

Yes, they are.

If Dani looks at them, they seem to go... almost everywhere on Zamira's body, and on her tail as well.

Ashna jumps onto a bench, and then into the air to grab at him.
But if that fails, she'll leave and walk out into the woods.

Helen, assuming that it's her being talked to and not the nurse, says, "Nice to meet you...I'm Helen."

Even if she wasn't being talked to, she would have still said that.

"Maybe... or maybe there's someplace closer. I think it should be his girlfriend's decision, don't you?" Charity says.

[Infirmary]

"Nurse Piper. Careful. Don't get pixie dust on the bandages." she says, as she cleans the wound expertly.

"I'll go and get her, stay on the line." Says Susan, turning and running outside, grabbing her Jacket on the way out, all the while shouting "Ashna!" Over and over again.

Vallasito reclines in his large armchair sipping wine in the main lodge. Lowan has head off to finish putting the cameo painting on the defense turrets.

Krysta smiles at Helen and lands just in front of her, careful not to sprinkle dust everywhere.

I know Nurse Piper. I'll be careful.

She looks back at Helen. So what were you doing up there?

They cover my body, yes. They're not just for decoration, though... I'm what's called an Exalted. Specifically, a Lunar Exalted, gifted with the power to change my form. However, at the moment, this has had a tendency to... go wrong, which would turn me into a monster. The tattoos stop that from happening.

Ashna goes back to cabin 10 to get those falconing things in the bottom of her toolbox. Holding the bird carefully. So it doesn't escape.
