Zubera looks disappointed as Yamako backs away, but as any child, her attention span isn't that long and a moment later her mind is focused elsewhere.

"Swimming...?" She appears confused by the concept. "N-no."

So...you don't want to go, or you don't have a swimsuit? asks Helykaan, before turning over to Yamako. Yes, I'll borrow one of yours.

Zubera just shakes her head. "No swimsuit."

she looks back at the child, and then to Helykaan If you come with me, we can find you one that fits eager to get away from that "thing"

Come on, she says to the other girl. She's just a girl. Not scary. Although, you probably need gloves when playing with her.

Where do you think swimsuits are? asks Helen, pondering where she could drain someone's soul. Maybe at the shed.

The shed that's near the lake, with water equipment, canoes, and so on in it.

I've got a few in my room in cabin 9 . Yamako goes up to Helykaan and wispers in her ear :Look,I've seen a few addicts in my time,and I can tell your desperate for something. what is it?

Zubera follows the both girls along expectingly, she appears to be enjoying herself for the time being.

"I want to play someone, is there anyone else interesting around here?" She asks in a casual little girl manner.

Attention, I think, she replies in Yamako's mind.

Then, to find out for sure, she tries to read Zubera's mind to see if that will give a clue, as they continue walking, whilst replying, I don't know. There's loads of interesting people, you just have to find them.

Yamako looks round at the child, while proceeding to cabin 9 what are we going to do about her then?

This is it.

Hopefully Charity won't freak out when she sees that Memzee is still Memzee and not Zee. If Tyril is to be believed the woman really wanted her back to normal.

Even if... She really doesn't want to be back to normal anymore.

Not that the amulet seemed to help at all anyway.

A deep breath.

Then a knock on the door.

"Hello? Is it alright if I visit Charity?" comes the demoness' voice from outside.

As Helen tries to read Zuberas mind, there is just a surge of nothingness, it feels like it's reaching out for her mind, her very person as she connects with it.

Zubera strolls along, looking at the various places of GloG big eyed.

Yamako looks across the GLoG area astrally,and has a closer look near the infirmary.**** she breaks into a run in direction of the infirmary. she had promissed Tyril, and she wouldn't back up on it now. pulling out her guns she charges towards the demoness,

Helen quickly withdraws. Why does everybody interesting have mental shields or some other quirk that prevents their mind from being read.

She watches Yamako go. Where...?

((Zubera is a goddess from where she come from, but yeah. Too many people have mental shields. ))

Zubera suddenly giggles and follows Yamako as she runs, as if it was a game of tag.

((Oh! I just remembered. Magic: The Gathering has a bunch of cards called "Zubera".))

Helen...watches her go, too.

After everybody's out of sight, she shapeshifts up to human woman. Blond, curly hair, and looks almost like her true demon form, except without the demon parts.

Yamako is charging at the demoness, guns blazeing, and shifting into an almost feral form. she looks angry , beautiful, and deadly at the same time, Like a lioness comeing in for the kill

"Visitors need to sign in," the ghost Nurse Piper says. "You can stay 15 minutes only."

Uh-oh. Looks like she's started making new rules without the permission of the living doctors.

Brianna hears the 15 minutes bit. No, that is not a rule! Nurse Piper, in future, you must submit all new rules to me or Quinn for approval!

The demoness bites her lip. That isn't exactly what she was expecting but just as well. Not too much of a problem. "Thank you," she replies quite sincerely before peeking inside. "Eerr... Where's the sign in sheet aAAAH!"

Why the 'AAAH!'?

Because a bullet just tore through her arm of course!

A few more hit her carapace armor, the stuff deforming a bit from the impact and vaporizing the round in the process. The force of getting shot in the back several times sends her staggering into the infirmary. She hits the floor and quickly rolls out of the line of fire, using the wall for cover.

"I've been shot!" she announces, sounding rather surprised. The wound is pretty obvious, really. Bleeding all over her arm.

Of course, then Brianna sees Memzee getting shot.

She storms out holding her spear. STOP SHOOTING OR I WILL RIP YOUR HANDS OFF AND FEED THEM TO YOU!

[Teleporting]

Helen hears the 'aaaah!' scream. Go help! says Heaven and Earth to her (yes, I'm finally doing it!).

She teleports over to where she heard the screaming...so she appears out, behind the infirmary, looking for who screamed.

The succubus runs around, and spies Zee! (Demon Zee?) Are you alright?

Zubera have followed Yamako along but stops dead in her tracks when Yamako suddenly transforms into a beast with weapons.

First she looks afraid, but then she just smiles and walks closer to the battle, interested.

[Infirmary]

Memzee is presently looking at the messy hole in her abdomen. Looks like one of the rounds tore through the small of her back and out her gut. Ouch.

Considering the way the wound in question looks one might wonder why she isn't flipping out or something. Usually calm demon person lady.

"I... Think so...?" she replies rather hesitantly as Helen arrives. "I just wanted to see how Charity was doing..."

Getting shot from behind when trying to visit one's friend just isn't at all fun.

Poor Memzee...

Though oddly enough the bleeding seems to have stopped with uncanny speed. Holes are still there, though.

Nurse Piper at once shifts roles from doorkeeper to caretaker, and begins applying first aid, not at all concerned that the shooter might still be out there.

That's one way to get past the prickly nurse. Become a patient, and she asks no questions.

Charity remains sleeping through the event.

Ouch. I'm sorry, she says, suspecting it was Yamako that did the shooting, but, for all she knows, it was that army of insane gnomes, mad for being mistaken for lawn ornamination.

Anyway, the demon watches as the ghost-nurse takes care of Memzee, but is backed up away enough to not get yelled at by the ghost. That's already happened to her, it wasn't pretty.

"I'll... umm... Go lay down on a bed?" Memzee suggests as she begins to tentatively move toward the cot next to Charity's. Looks like she's going to manage to visit after all.

It's been a while since she... eerr... ate someone.

Which means her wounds won't be healing as fast as they potentially could.

It'll probably be several hours at least before that hole in her torso has repaired itself. Not to mention the shattered bone in her shoulder. Thankfully her body is able to shrug off all but the most lethal catastrophic injury...

As she lays down, allowing the nurse to tend to her, she coughs slightly. "Umm... Charity? Are you asleep?"

It's a silly question.

If she is then she can't answer it.

That was convenient. The patient took themselves right to the bed she was going to recommend. Always more efficient to keep all the patients together in one ward, after all.

Charity looks terrible. Not as bad as she did yesterday, but worse than when Memzee last saw her. Considering she was a rat demon then, that's saying a lot.

"Mmm?" she answers. I think that means she's half awake.

While Nurse Piper is distracted by MemZee's wounds, Nimai slips past to look for Anila.

Just outside the Infirmary

Sadly, unlike everybody else, Helen doesn't have a loved one who's sick, so she can't think of a reason to go in.

She just sits outside, tucking her wavy blond hair behind her ear as she sits by a tree.

Once properly bandaged 'n with clean wounds Memzee winces at the sight of Charity. She...

She practically looks undead!

Bones sticking out, features sunken... Absolutely awful.

"Oh Charity... I'm so sorry..."

Well... At least she isn't a demon anymore, right? Memzee glances about for the nurse to make sure she isn't watching before slipping off her bed and limping over to Charity's side. Severe muscular and skeletal atrophy. This would take a long time to fix. Normal magic just doesn't have the capacity to heal wounds like these.

Her Life-Shaping, however... That feeds nutrients to whatever she happens to be manipulating to allow the organism to grow or metamorphose without eating itself. With a little bit of effort she should be able to help her...

"Charity? It's M...eerr... It's Zee. I'm going to see if I can't help your recovery along a bit. It'll feel weird. Try not to resist."

With that she'll reach down to gently place a hand on the nearly skeletal woman. And her Life-Shaping will get to work.

Unknown to Memzee, her old 'super power' has bee tainted along with her. She can still Life-Shape things, but only into twisted, demonic forms. As a matter of fact, the onyx still fused to her chest is using her ability as a conduit for its corruptive power.

The demonic taint will begin in the injured tissue and begin to spread as Memzee tries to heal Charity. It'll probably be a while before any outward signs show themselves.
