Xanthia rattles off the distances and directions as best she can figure them out. "You can contact the others by comm and have them meet us there."

Pius nodded, stepping to one side and activating his comm-link on the designated channel.

"Hack. Hack, come in."

You fire a shot, but Finial is too quick as he wades around the crowd. Instead, you hit a random passerby. He drops instantly, and the crowd around him disperses. That's when notice Finial pointing in the distance.

A braver soul then the others approaches the fallen body and gives it a slight tap with his foot...

Which when you climb down, and ready yourself to catch up to Finial.

As you bargain with the man, you spot in the distance what seems to be a sudden gathering of sorts: as if a large amount of people have surrounded something.

As you walk amongst the people, you see an hooded figure, with a very long, thin staff-like object tightly wrapped tied to his back running towards you: appearing right out of the mass of people. He rams into you, and you both tumble to the floor.

As he turns to face you, you can see he is both exhausted and horrified, as if being chased by something. But his features distort and light up:

"You!" He says and quickly adds "That's.. That's impossible!!"

He staggers backwards, getting back to his feet, and glances behind him.

"It is fate: it must be." He says, as he quickly unties the object on his back and hands it to you.

"It is yours now" He says, then dashes past you, melding into the crowd before you can say a word....

You think you heard him whisper something as he ran past you...

Hack looks over at the gathering of people, before turning his attention back to the man, "These guns are in near-perfect condition, I will give these six to you for 300 thrones, keep the bad one for myself, and that's cuttin' me own throat."

Loken puts his cloak over his whole body along with his equipment and starts running for Finial again.

Just as the man laughs at your good joke, he takes the guns and hands you thrones. When he does so, you hear a loud blood curdling scream coming from the center of the crowd.

And then they riot. The crowd begins to run outwards, stampeding towards you.

[OOC: Perception test to hear Finial's yelling trough the crowd and recognize his very peculiar voice]

As the crowd begins to stampede, you think you can spot Finial and his thugs heading towards something. You can surely hear his squealing voice!

Hack looks over at the commotion in the center of the crowd, assessing whether it is of any immediate relevence to his current mission.

You spot things:

Firstly, a man running trough the crowd: in some sort of panic.

Secondly, two large thugs (reminiscent of the one in the alley) shoving people aside as they head towards him.

You recognize Finial leading them on, as you hear him barking orders as he motions towards the fleeing man.

Chaos breaks out! The crowd breaks apart as loud screaming rises from its center.

"He's been shot! Run! Its a Raid!" The voices yell out.

[OOC: Str check to make your way way past the crowd towards them!]

You begin to lose sight of Finial and his thugs: they are fading away in the crowd! You can hurry and try to catch up!

[OOC: Try an agility test this time to run trough the crowd and catch up to Finial]

This appears to be relevant. Hack begins making his way through the crowd towards the man being chased, attempting to catch him before the thugs do. He relies on his immanse size and intimidating form, and when that fails he simply bats people out of his way.

He seems to be an expert at navigating trough the crowds, dodging people and squeezing in between them, successfully avoiding the masses.

Unfortunately for you, your having less luck then he is! Random people keep on running into to you, unable to avoid your bulky frame as they flee in a frenzied panic!

But you move forward, batting them aside, making a path trough the crowd.

Unfortunately, Finial and his men are also making progress: they are much closer then you are.

[OOC: Attempt an Agility for a last ditch attempt to burst and catch up to him before they do... If not, we'll await Loken's action before moving on.]

Loken is getting really mad at himself for not being able to get to Finial. He pushes forward with all the energy he has left just to get Finial. He whispers to himself.I will get you, even it it's the last thing I do.

You carve a path trough the crowd, throwing people out of your way like a runaway van.


But Finial has spotted you!


"SHOOT!" He yells at the two thugs, and they fire. Clearly he had no intention of giving up the man to anybody.

Just as he does so, you spot the man ducking out of the way, into a nearby sewer tube!

The thugs fire- you have a moment to react: you can either move behind the crowd, letting them take the bullets for you, or stand firm and suffer the damage instead....

Pius's voice echoes in your Vox. "Hack, Come in Hack"

As the thugs open fire, the crowd thins: giving you your chance.

You rush behind Finial just as his men rain bullets into the crowd, aiming for a rather large and visible hack: he does not even notice you.

Hack glares at the thugs, standing firm as he walks into point blank range, shotgun out and behind his back. Quietly into the Vox: "Pius, this is Hack, I am currently engaged in hostilities, please stand by. Loken, the man went through that sewer grate, follow him, i shall take care of these meatbags." Walking through the storm of bullets, Hack emerges on the other side, shotgun first, loosing a thunderous blast into the thug on his right.

You charge the hulking man, place the barrel of the gun facing his chest and fire! His innards explode instantly as he's reduced to a pile of meat and gore.

The other turns his gun and let's loose and squeezes the trigger again: if no body stops him, your going to probably feel some pain.

Hack brings down the sword in his other hand on the second thug, putting as much force as he could behind the blow.

The thug pulls on the trigger, unleashing a spray of bullets onto Hack... but the Tech-priest's sword is quicker, it lands on the gun: shifting its aim!

The bullets graze the Tech-priest's shoulder... an Inconvenience at best.

As he sees his thugs cut down, Finial runs to the sewer grating as well, either a bit before, besides, or after Loken.

Holstering his shotgun as he completes his sword-blow, Hack draws his las-pistol and begins firing it at Finial, his sword still up and ready to deflect blows from the thug as he does so.

You fire at Finial as he escapes, but he ducks into the frantic crowd: your beam hits a citizen instead, and he tumbles on the ground head on.

The hulking thug besides you brings down his first over your head, attempting to smash you down: but you quickly move your sword beneath it, turning the bladed side up.

The force of the strike is immense: so much so that the thug cleaves his own hand straight off.

Stumbling backwards, he grips the stump then collapses, bleeding out on the cold metallic floor.

Loken keeps pushing himself to get the man that is annoying him because of the chases. You're not getting away this time. (he mutters to himself)

You duck into the alley behind the mind, just in time to see him run into unexpected, and by the looks of it unwanted, company.

Blocking his way, three more armed thugs are waiting along with a bulky, slightly pudgy man with greased up graying hair wearing an old black trench-coat and a hat.

He puts a hand over the man's, which you assume to be Guiserp's, shoulder and leads him further into the tunnels into a more private corner.

One of the thugs stays behind, keeping a lookout: though he does not seem to spot you now, if you come any closer he probably will.

Hack looks down at the thug, raises his sword, and plunges it into the brute, Leave no enemies behind he then starts making his way towards where Finial and presumably Guiserp were headed, idly reloading his shotgun as he walks.

Xanthia looks at Pius, "Any response?"

Suddenly remembering the previous Vox call, Hack opens the channel again, "Pius, this is Hack, hostilities are temporarily on hold. We have located what is probably Guiserp, he is being chased by Finial, I believe Loken is in pursuit, I am bringing up the rear. What is your situation?"

As you walk, you see the same scene as Loken. Finial is, for all intents and purposes gone.

Hack recocks the shotgun, holding it behind his back as before, and starts lumbering towards the brute left on watch.

I assume he'll get the chance to react so I'll fire my gun after that. Closing to point-blank.

The man notices you, and quickly turns his gun in your general direction. He fires!

But misses completely, even on full auto, as he's surprised (and perhaps a little frightened) of Hack's resolve!

Hack doesn't even flinch as the fool blindly fires his autogun into thin air, peppering the walls of the sewers around him. He draws his shotgun from behind his back and let's loose a thunderous blast at the brute.

I think Finial is captured by other thugs or something, but I need help getting past a big ol' bastard. Loken whispers into his comm link hoping that someone picked up the signal. Then he gives the directions to get to his location. (I don't really know the exact streets that he took, so yeah I won't say it in the speak quote thing.)

The thug is sent flying as he's hit by the shotgun, and splatters against the tunnel walls.

You both advance further ahead, and take a peek around the Tunnel that the trench-coat wearing man and his retinue took Guiserpe.

You can hear them talking.

"Going somewhere there, Guiserpe? I give you a bit of time off, and you think your off the hook now?" A gruff voice asks.

"L-Listen boss, no: that's not it at all. I was coming back, that's for sure..." the meek man replies.

"Coming back aint gonna cut it. I heard you found something good, something your going to share with me."

"I..." He stammers, as he reaches for his pocket.

The stretch of tunnel they are is one that is defensible against your side.

This particular passage is relatively straight, flanked by walkway grates a good meter over the four meter deep stream of foul drainage below. A three meter long grate connects both sides of the passage, providing a meter wide bridge across the fast running sludge below.

The tunnels' "walls" are actually messes of jutting pipes and conduits, positioned such to provide some cover to the thug watching over the passageway.

The other one waits on the grating with his boss, while the latter questions Guiserp.

Hack slowly makes his way down the passage towards the talking people, calmly reloading the Meat Hammer.
