Red took the slightest moment to fix the bayonet to his lasgun and immediately began to surge through the crowd, ducking and weaving as need be, with Hive-bred fluidity.
"Merrick!" he called out over the crowd, "You will cease your activities immediately!"

Hieronymus whispered to Jericus, doing his best to be heard over the alarms without alerting anyone nearby. "Right, that's got rid of them. Let's go. I found Merrick, and I want to see where she's going." If Jericus does not move, Hieronymus will drag (not literally) him along when he goes to find Merrick. Hopefully the squishy can keep his head down if the shooting starts.

Seeming to hear Red's shouted warning all too well, the two pushing the bed accelerated - the woman they were pushing looked round in distress, medics and patients scattering out of their path.

Barrelling after them, Phrenz collided with a couple of men in the uniform of the infirmary, bringing the guardsman almost to a dead halt as his speed-bumps crashed to the ground - weaving through the crowd, Red fared little better, while Olympus leapt ahead, a black shadow darting towards the fleeing pair. The other two accelerating back into the chase behind him, the assassin made a last dash as his quarry turned a corner up ahead, the momentum of the wheeled bed making them turn wide - in a moment he was parallel with them, running neck-and-neck down the hospital aisle. He got a glimpse of the red-haired woman's face - an old scar ran down the right cheek, an antiquated-looking receiver augmetic built into that side of her head instead of an ear.

She looked back at him, and accelerated, the wheels of the bed rattling and squeaking still louder. Up ahead, the exit loomed...

"It's approximately 22.3 standard imperial units (if this heigh is inappropriate to the height of the hospital then change it) up from this point, fifth or sixth floor I would say. (As above, so below)
Jericus is getting impatient.
"Now", he says making his way to an elevator "You get on with your job and I'll get on with mine"
When in the elevator Jericus will press the button for the fifth floor (again, if this is incorrect it should be changed), and then attempt to override it's systems and disable any cameras. He will then contact Hieronymus.
Suddenly, this didn't happen!
Sorry about that, my thinking wasn't joined up when I got back. Jericus will of course try to find Dr Gendlieb's office, and "assess it's structural integrity" . By which I mean ransack it for information.

Olympus chases after the woman*, and swings his great-scythe in an arc ahead of him- but she jumps out of the way.... Just as he brings it back for another swipe, bearing down on one of arms!

Red continues to push past the crowd, dodging, slipping and sliding through the throngs of Humanity.
He soon sees Olympus engaged in melee combat with Merrick, and so, skids to a halt and cracks off a single lasbolt aimed at her assistant.
"Come and get me, Heretic," he snarls as the bolt flies.

Groaning slightly as he eyed the crowd, Phrenz charged ahead, trying desperately to reach Merrick and her guard.

Snapping off his shot with practised ease, Red blasted a lasbolt into the white-coated man’s arm – shouting an oath, he clapped a hand to the wound, his speed faltering.

Letting go her hold on the pregnant woman’s bed to dodge out of the path of Olympus’ scythe, Merrick rose with surprising agility, her arm unscathed – only for the Moritat assassin’s returning weapon to hack into her ribcage, bowling her back across the white tiles of the hospital floor in an ugly smear of blood. The woman on the bed screamed – as she did so, Phrenz came thundering forwards, the scattering of the crowd by the sudden outbreak of violence giving him the space to regain his speed.

Seeming to consider his options for a moment, Merrick’s assistant saw the approaching colossus and redoubled his pace, still pushing the bed as he left Merrick for dead – the woman on the bed was shouting frantically now, too frightened to try and leap off as the squeaking gurney accelerated towards the doors.

“Sawney!” he bellowed, seemingly into a micro-bead on his collar. “Exits! Now!”

Red curses under his breath, and doesn't stop to look at the downed form of Merrick, instead breaking away from the group and charging headlong through the crowd, business end of his bayonet weaving in between the masses, with an aim to skewer Merrick's assistant.
"Keep her alive!" He yells as he runs, oblivious to the fatal wounding, "I got the other one!"

Making sure Dr Gendieb had gone, Jericus scurried forward to the office, seemingly oblivious to the Provost's suggestions.

Opening the door a little way, he stopped as he saw the junior medic Gendieb had sent back standing behind the desk inside - he hadn't seen him yet, and was speaking into a vox-receiver, the speaker pressed to his ear.

"...look, just get here as fast as you can. No, we don't know how many of them there are. There was a gunshot in the nursery and someone set off the alarm. Yes. No. The front door. Right..."

Cursing under his breath, Phrenz knelt down next to the bleeding figure of Merrick and got to work. Using whatever materials he could get his hands on, he attempted to stop her bleeding.

Damn. I have to study the target's voice for an hour to mimic. Well, I'll pretend to be someone else, just no-one specific. If all goes according to plan Jericus will pick up the vox and give false descriptions of the "attackers".

Twisting out of the way of Red's bayonet, the man kept running, not slowing down for the doors - the foot of the bed knocked them open with a loud slam, the helpless patient giving a yell of alarm as they careened through into the clearer corridor beyond. Behind Red, Olympus crashed into a cowering medic who got out of the way too slowly, both of them tumbling to the ground.

Dropping to a crouch next to Merrick, Phrenz stared at the damage Olympus' weapon had done - seeing the woman was bleeding out, he did his best to staunch the flow of blood, regretting somewhat that one could not tie a tourniquet around someone's ribcage. Shredding her bloodstained coat for bandages, he maintained pressure - after a tense couple of dozen seconds, he believed he had managed to avert the immediate crisis, his hands and forearms nevertheless slick with blood...

OOC: Posting this from a library computer, so the map will have to wait, unfortunately: however, the round is over, so feel free to start the next one.

The assistant's move was a Disengage - as such, he has moved four squares forwards, and is now just inside the doors. The doors swing - you can charge through them.

Olympus gets back up to his feet and chases after Red and the assistant.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Phrenz sat back on his heels, keeping an eye on Merrick. He had done all he could, and it seemed to be enough for now. Now they just needed to grab Merrick's companions, and they could get out of here.

Red's face contorts with Rage as he rights himself, taking the slightest moment to ready his bayonet again and scream an Oath to the Emperor as he charges at his quarry.

Swerving to one side as the guardsman lunged towards him, the man tried to avoid Red's stabbing blade. The bayonet glanced across his temple, cutting a shallow red line in the man's forehead - crying out in pain, he redoubled his speed, heading hell-for-leather for the doors to the reception.

Hieronymus whispers back to Jericus. "Yes, actually. He doesn't know we're not supposed to be here yet. Just do your thing with the walls until he leaves. I'll take care of him."

Then he turns to the fellow on the vox. "Hi. We're supposed to be checking the walls in here for structural faults. If you could finish your call and get out of our way, that would make our job a lot easier."

Jinking out of the path of Red's bayonet with a rattle of castors, the man accelerated down the hallway and out into the reception, the double doors banging behind him as he ploughed through them. He was still yelling something into his microbead, the name "Sawney" audible again...

"Plan B" Jericus whispers, hoping that Heironymous will understand.

[Destro_Yersul]

"Yeah, he did. But he also told us that this wasn't really a drill, and we figured we'd better finish inspecting the parts of this place that weren't in the way of whatever fired that shot you mentioned. Much safer, don't you agree?" As he's speaking, Hieronymus saunters of casually and sits down on the desk next to the guy. He doesn't seem to be having a problem coming up with lies and half-truths, but it's just a diversion. Going with plan B means that as soon as he's close to the guy, the guy is going to receive a sound knock on the head from the butt of his pistol.

Regardless of whether or not that works, he then points the gun at the guy and speaks in a low voice so as not to alert the vox operators on the other end of the line. "This is a naval Irontalon. You've likely never seen one before. The effects when fired at close range are not pretty. If you do anything stupid, I'll pull the trigger, and your boss will be picking pieces of you off the walls for a very long time."

I don't think this counts as an enclosed space or with my back to a wall, but if it does, +5 to WS. The Irontalon's reinforced grip counts as a club for the purposes of melee combat, so this isn't an improvised weapon, either. Base WS is 38... (1d100)[61]

should that succeed, I roll (1d10+3)[9] and he rolls 1d10 plus his toughness bonus. If mine is higher or equal to his, he's stunned for a number of rounds equal to the difference in rolls (minimum one? Doesn't say), and takes a level of fatigue

Seeing a glimpse of the gun as ‘Benson’’s hand reached for it, the shaven-headed young doctor pushed his chair back hard, one hand keeping hold of the telephone receiver as the Proctor’s blow whiffled through empty air.

Training the pistol’s barrel on the man, Heironymous uttered his threat – the doctor stared back at him, his face an impassive mask.

“What do you want?” he asked, warily.

Red moves into a full-tilt sprint after his quarry, yelling after him as he does so.
"Heretic! You will halt immediatly in the name of the Great Father!"
He chooses his words carefully, tailoring them to attempt to sway the Star Children to his side, and hopes his companions understand.

Olympus, faster then the guardsman, runs ahead of him- trying to get in sync with the assistant so he can grab onto him.

[OOC: I do believe with the Agi Modifer of 4, Olympus gets ahead of them seeing as we don't have to roll anymore. I can grab him now, cause running is a full action, but I will attempt to grab the guy next turn, when he moves next to me by readying some actions.

Grunting slightly, Phrenz carefully lifted Merrick in a fireman's carry, doing his best not to disturb her wounds. With that, he turned, and began to make his way back the way they had come in.

Phrenz can lift up to 45 kg comfortably, but since he's already carrying 31 kg of gear, I'm assuming this brings him over that limit. He can lift up to 90kg total, though.

Also, unless the situation changes drastically, he's just going to be making his way back to the apartment, as advised.
