I forgot about the awesome tauntkill I got... A Heavy tried to tauntkill me, so I retaliated, as a Medic. I missed the initial stun, but a friendly Soldier knocked the Heavy towards me... just as I did the damaging part of the taunt. It was awesome.

I played that. i was not scared. I mean, the game is called Aliens vs. Predator, it wasn't a surprise when it was a xenomorph that dropped on your head.

What would have scared you? A Care Bear dropping on your head?

It's not about knowing what the threat is, it's the buildup of tension and the panic of having to suddenly defend yourself.

The movie Alien is considered scary, despite the fact that the film's ad campaign was based around an alien going around and murdering people.

B, it was better than that. I realised what you were doing but forgot that the pull back was what actually killed, so I was running towards you to punch you.

Yes. It's unexpected and creepy.

The sound is more what actually scares you in any horror game though. If you play it on low volume the game won't be half as scary.

And have you seen the original Alien recently? It really isn't as scary as you may remember it.

Who was it on the server I POW Ah HA'd on cp_steel right as the gate opened when he had his sniper dot on my head? That was a pretty sweet tauntkill.

In certain situations when totally surrounded by the Horde, especially in an area that requires quick movement, and when everyone on your team has pills or high health, it may be necessary to throw a moltov in the center of your group or target the Horde near you.

Getting 4-Boomed with an incoming tank is a good time to drop a molly right where you are, but generally only if you've got another molly in case the tank backs off. You don't want to do it unless most standing people are at decent health, but it's not going to hurt an incapped person too much, and does much less damage than a horde will if they are boomed.

This was NOT one of those situations. We went from green to red, all 4 of us. He threw it in such a way that there was no quick escape and several of us got trapped in the flames by zombies. It was not pretty.

Also, great game tonight. It really got down to the line there at the end. Very close. I can't help but feel that a charge that had been a degree or two to the left or a smoke that pulled a little more to the left could have changed it either way a few times.

Which I think is a sign that we were playing the way we were supposed to, high powered and super competitive, but for fun .
