[ACRO] Crazy Ol Magtok's Battle Arena of Terror! (COMBAT! I)

Riv simply adjusts his stance, digging his feet deeper into the snow and cranking up the volume on his player.

[The Alexandrian]

Alpha rolls to the left and springs up slashing at the back of his opponent's head with his katana in a single movement. This move would stagger a normal opponent if their armor was of such quality that it didn't break or their head wasn't sliced off.

[ThirdEmperor]

Riv kicks one leg up and backward, going straight over Alph's head, the other still rooted into the snow. The he leaps and flips, landing behind Alpha and pirouetting around aiming a brutal kick at his opponents head! Sadly this maneuver only put his neck further in harms way, so there is currently missing large chunk, although it is being rapidly knitted together by black ooze.

Meanwhile the music plays: There's a star man, waiting in the sky......

Alpha prepares to receive the force of the blow. He is kicked and the neck area of his armor takes heavy damage. However, the momentum of this kick, while damaging his armor, aids in his next maneuver. The momentum propels him forward so he can regain his footing after he twirls his katana so it faces backward and attempts to stab Riv in his abdominal region.

Riv is impaled by the katana, but appears not to notice. Instead he rushes forward, impaling himself farther, and attempts to headbutt Alpha.

... He'd like to come and meet us, but he knows he thinks he'd blow our minds.....

[The Alexandrian]

Alpha turns about in enough time to see Riv's head a inch from his visor. He releases his katana and attempts to meet Riv's headbutt with his own headbutt by accelerating as fast as he can towards Riv. (If this contact is made, Alpha's helmet will shatter.)

Riv's head slams into Alpha's, and his skull is a lot harder than it should be. Riv staggers back, stunned by the impact for a second, before quickly regaining his footing and defensive stance. He is however, not in good shape by now, his neck is bleeding quite badly, although the wound is almost healed, the sun is shining right through the hole in his torso, and his forehead is visibly bleeding.

.... He told us not to blow it, cause he knows it's all worth while.....

[The Alexandrian]

Alpha is also quite damaged. His helmet is completely shattered and his computer is obliterated. His monitoring systems are down and his suit is beginning to short every so often administering excruciatingly painful amounts of electrical voltage to his body.

"You ready to give up? (zap) Owww! (zap) Aggghhh! That frickin hurts."

Portions of his armor begin to fall off.

"You have to be kidding me!"

This unveils a man wearing a white mask in a white leather tunic and white trousers with white shoes. He draws a dagger from his side and prepares to utilize military knife fighting tactics, holding his dagger in his right hand with its blade closer to his arm (the opposite way one would hold a longsword). No part of his skin can be seen, only his hair and clothing.

Riv retracts the boot-blade and withdraws a combat knife from his pocket, pausing the music as he does so. Not quite yet. You know spetznaz knife fighting? He says, pulling out the katana and sticking it in the snow.

(Also, do you know that spell-check doesn't recognize the word katana?)

[The Alexandrian]

(Yeah, its quite strange considering its a DnD weapon and in one of the avatars here)

"Actually, I learned to fight with daggers using the US special forces tactic. It is more like a dance than a tactic. You can make the first move this time."

Alpha readies himself for the assault.

I guess our styles are opposites once again, spetznaz focuses on speed over elegance. The idea is that after the training is complete the weapon is part of your arm and fighting with it an instinct. Cool clothes though. With this Riv lunges forward, turning his heel at the last moment to spray snow at Alpha, slashing at his guts in the same movement.

[The Alexandrian]

Alpha jabs with his left fist then brings his dagger in his right fist around in a fluid diagonal motion focused on slashing Riv across the face. After he slashes, he brings his dagger back in, attempting to stab Riv. As soon as Riv's dagger hits its mark and tears through Alpha's flesh, he attempts to push Riv away from him (whether he was able to stab/slash Riv or not).

Alpha's fist does a lot more than give Riv a bruise, it quite literally almost takes his head off, tearing open the wound on his throat and leaving his head wobbling almost comically. Think that's about it for me, I'm pretty sure even I can't survive having my head ripped off. He says, sitting down on the snow. Good game.

[The Alexandrian]

Alpha is holding his gut with his left hand. "You're alright, you know. If you ever need some help, I'd be proud to render aid. You are a most worthy foe. You want to get an ale, mead, grog, or just straight alcohol with me?" Alpha asks. "It'll take the edge off the pain of battle. My treat." Alpha picks through the wreckage which was formerly called armor. He draws two needles out of a machine in the plate which covered his upper arm. He tosses one to Riv "It is a growth stimulator, very difficult to synthesize. It will make your recovery time only last a few minutes, seeing as you already are beginning to repair your wounds from the battle." With these words, Alpha injects himself with the stim filled needle and begins to gather the few pieces of his armor that still properly function along with his weaponry.

(Btw, Alpha was pretty much finished as well. He was injured at one of his central veins and was beginning to believe that Riv was invincible.)

Thanks, you're darn good fighter yourself. Riv says, injecting himself with the needle. As for the alcohol, I brought my own. With this he pulls a bottle of BOOZE out of his tool belt, takes a swig and throws it to Alpha. On the house. Just don't get it near fire. it's 1000% proof, works as explosive, anaesthetic or just really good ale.

(He kinda is. The only way to kill any part of him is to sever any connections between it and his right hand.)

[The Alexandrian]

"Thanks," Alpha takes a swig of the alcohol and tosses it back to Riv. "If you ever need anything at all come and see a friend of mine at PACK called Alexander Pyborne. He might be able to help. And here's something that I think you should have." At this, Alpha tosses Riv his katana. On the side is an engraving of the word "Patronus" and some symbols that, upon touching Riv (assuming he catches it) glow with a strange energy as the weapon begins to surge with electricity. "A little token to mark our meeting. I see something in you which tells me you were destined to have it. And watch for that voltage. By the way the blade is pulsing with it, I'm inclined to believe it will jump from one target to the next without them really touching it."

Thanks. If you ever need a weapon or your armor repaired, I'm always at either Trog's or The Black Dragon. Says Riv, porting back to the stands and taking a seat.

[The Alexandrian]

Alpha shouts "Goodbye my friend and thanks. Until we meet again." then leaves the arena.

[ThirdEmperor]

Riv waves goodbye and waits for the exalted to undeadtime.

[ThirdEmperor]

Riv teleports out of the Arena just as another teleports in, then turns and waits. His passenger can't be far behind.

Decker teleports in, finds herself in the middle of a stadium full of people, and waves.

The crowd jeers.

What did you expect? Riv brought a child in!

[The Alexandrian]

A shadowy figure paces in the stands. It is Zeta. He appears to be waiting for someone.

(Into the stands, not the ring. For all they know I'm bringing my kid along to watch the fights.)

[The Alexandrian]

Alpha enters. He and Zeta abruptly take their seats and begin to speak in a hushed tone.

Well that's less fun.



Decker does not wave at the crowd, and instead follows through on that punch to Riv.

[ThirdEmperor]

Okay. Riv says, sitting down and turning to Decker. What are you and why did you attack me for helping stop a kidnapping?

"You.." *punch* "Blew up.." *punch* "My..." *punch* "School..." *punch*

(all punches attempted of course)

[ThirdEmperor]

I doubt it. Those horns make me suspect you were more upset about me stopping the kidnapping. You also know how to punch properly, meaning you've been in moee fights than the average 11 year old. Says Riv, ignoring the punches.

"You shouldn't blow up my school to stop a kidnapping! And anyway, Vince was ALREADY kidnapped! So you were too late to prevent it!" Decker says. She finally gives up on the punching and puts her hands on her hips and GLAAAAARES.
