Alpha and Zeta stroll to Riv. Upon noticing that the girl is punching Riv, Alpha holds out a hypodermic needle to Riv while Zeta flanks the girl, in order to prevent her escape attempts.

"It is a mild sedative. Should make this devil more cooperative."

I note your evasion of my previous questions. Not to mention that Vincent was about to be kidnapped again, by an entirely different set of people. Then turning to Zeta and taking the hypo. Thank you, she tried to stop me from hindering a kidnapping.

Decker dodges the teleporter. No way she's voluntarily using an enemies teleportation device. That's a great way to get kidnapped. Instead, she attempts to scamper off and get lost in the crowds.

By rule of PC magnetism, Decker's crowd-scampering will probably put her close to Ermine. Who is in ermine form, which means she's a small weasel-like creature with a hat.

"Oh hey! I know you! You're the one who is totally doing icky grownup stuff with my future husband in another thread!"

Decker doesn't say that, and instead crouches between the rows to keep her distinctive horns from showing above the crowd and giving herself away. "Shhh" she says to Ermine, and starts concentrating.

"I am? Wit yer future 'usband? Well, I do git around..."

Ermine nods, understanding completely the need for hiding. The ermine pulls a generic pirate hat out of her own floofy hat and places it on Decker's head, to hide the horns. She gestures to an empty seat next to her.

Decker concentrates for a while, and eventually opens up a shiny purple portal. "Thanks!" she says, and gives the hat back to Ermine, before jumping through the portal back to PACK.

"I should be in huge danger," they say in one voice, "that's what we were summoned for."

Hmmm.... Looks like the danger was averted. Just don't try to attack AMEN just yet, even you would get killed.

"I know that attacking AMEN would be suicide." they wink, "We celestials aren't that stupid."

"Come to the bar in a second, and join us in having a bit of jolly good fun." they say as they dart away, snickering.

Riv rises from his seat, anyone watching will see a look of complete horror and revulsion on his face. He teleports off, looking like someone just walked over his grave in steel-spiked boots.

Emily undeadtimes-again-and swears loudly. Timezones have lost her her chance. Again.

Then the small mammal laughs. She reaches into her hat and pulls out a leather wallet. It has "Random NPC" written on the drivers license, and the picture is of a blank gray face.

"'Ere ya go."

Ermine pulls out some money and hands it over. I should be enough-ish.

(Emily should actually be glad she didn't have to fight Riv, he had been setting things up so she couldn't kill him without proving his entire arguement true. And then he shot a 14 year old. That kinda ruined it.)
