Zavi shakes her head a little. Like I said, I do not know the specifics of how it was done. But, my sister and I have had our life forces binded. We feel each other's pain. Hence why I could not let you shoot her when we first met.

Having closed up shop, Brendan comes upstairs, humming softly to himself.

Ashna is in the bed, asleep. No lionfish, no explosions, just a candle-like flame that's there whenever they sleep.

Brendan smiles at seeing his wife, and heads to freshen up for the evening, changing into his pajamas, before returning and going to slip into bed and snuggle up to her.

[Wait, apartment? So they own the downstairs, but only rent the upstairs? ]

Pajamas? How silly. Anyway, as she's asleep, and Brendan's heat pattern is on a list of approved safe people, Ashna doesn't take much notice. Just cuddle slightly closer to the warm person.

[No, they own it...just an 'upstairs apartment' kind of place. ]

He's silly that way sometimes.
Might undress though if she doesn't bother with nightclothes...

...either way, the cuddling-closer gets a smile, and he puts an arm around her, softly kisses the back of her neck, and closes his eyes with a content sigh, drifting off to sleep.

Sleep ensues! Presumably, more identical assassins/kidnappers arrive in the night.

If they do, they're ninjas, as they're completely unnoticable...
...or they probably don't, since they still don't know where Brendan is.

So tonight, at least, they get to spend quietly together.

Al shrugs. " Well, I can think of a few advantages for it. Just think about it. A team that knows the physical condition there members are in at all times, could help with strategics and warnings and what not. " Then the scientist shakes his head.

" But that can be saved for another day. It seems like it's almost time for dinner and I've nearly caught up on all of this paper work. " He says closing a few more windows down after changing a few things here and there.

But then, what happens when one dies?

And with that, she takes her leave.

Delta, meanwhile, is getting dinner ready.

Al thinks about it for a few more seconds but then leaves it as it is. He then finishes going through the files and then heads upstairs to eat.

Upstairs, lasagna awaits him.

Delta stands to the side, as she usually does during meals.

And Al quietly eats his dinner, well mostly quiet for most of the time. About halfway through he asks Delta a question. " So, what do you think of my experiments? "

Delta is slightly surprised he's asking her this. But, she composes herself to answer.

Well...they're informative, at least. Some of them aren't really pretty, I guess. But, I guess that's kind of expected.

Al nods. " I see. Did you have any problems with any of them at all? "
