Post Unseen Savant (Invisible Killer Mage) PEACH

    Unseen Savant

The Savant is a force of destruction. They thrive in the glory of battle, relishing every destructive moment that war brings. However the Savant seeks no fame, no status, and no name in history. The Unseen Savant strives to be an unseen force of destruction, like a demolishing wind bearing its invisible fury. Unseen Savants excel most when they cannot be seen, even while they are visible to the naked eye, it takes a trained spotter to notice their movements or see any indication that they are preparing or casting one of their deadly repertoire of spells.
    Hit Die: 1d4

    Alignment: Any chaotic
Weapon and armour proficiencies: All simple weapons, no armour
The Savant’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Bluff (Cha), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int),Hide (Dex), Knowledge (arcana) (Int), Move Silently (Dex), Profession (Wis), and Spellcraft (Int).

    Invisible Spells (Su)

    Greater Invisibility (Su)

As a standard action the Unseen Savant may cast Greater Invisibility as a Spell Like Ability five times a day.

    The eyes of the Unseen

The Unseen Savant gains +5 on his saves to disbelieve illusions and break enchantments as well as +5 to his Spot check.

    Hidden Death (Ex)

The Unseen Savant adds his intelligence modifier to his Hide and Move Silently checks.

    Spell Sneak Attack (Su)

Whenever the Unseen Savant casts a spell with a target and catches that target flat footed, they may apply sneak attack damage equal to 1d4 per every second level Unseen Savant.

    Vision Immunity (Ex)

The Unseen Savant is immune to all forms of vision and scrying, as well as any detection spells. Even his team mates do not know where he is unless he communicates this information. However, a caster equal to or higher than the ECL of the Unseen Savant may cast True Seeing and pierce these protections.

    Greater Unseen Killer (Su)

Whenever the Savant casts a spell and cannot be seen nor heard casting the spell, they add +10 damage to the spell and/or the victim incurs a -5 to all Saves.

    Silent Unseen Death (Su)

Nothing seems to happen except all surrounding hostile creatures begin choking and feeling weaker, intermingled with dizziness that seems to affect their combat abilities.

As a standard action the caster designates a square, from this square arises an incendiary poisonous fog. The fog lasts 5 rounds and all within it’s effect must make a Fortitude save (DC10+1/2 Unseen Savants CL+Savants Intelligence Modifier) or die. If they make this role they make an immediate second Fortitude save (DC15+1/2 Unseen Savants CL+Savants Intelligence Modifier) or be poisoned for 1d8 rounds. This poison lasts 1d20 rounds and causes 1d6 worth of damage every round. Finally, all spells with the fire descriptor cast into or in the fog are increased in damage by 1/2. Thus if a caster fired a fireball into the fog that dealt 100 to all combatants, the victims would take 150 instead.

Author Note: Minor editing to be under taken. Add some fluff and formatting etc.

I wanted to try and create a character who brought swift unseen death...without being broken. So I slowed his spell progression and gave him a tiny spell list resolved around invisibility and damage output. He has almost no functional spells, a pathetic hit die, no armour proficiencies and simple weapon proficiencies. He also gets bonuses when he strikes while unseen and unheard which I thought added a nice flavour. Opinions?
