Kaito shrugs.

"I'm not a huge gamer, but they can be pretty fun. And my parents prefer I play Guitar Hero to some games, I suppose. It's more "culturally enriching" or something. Not as much fun as some of the others, though."

Kaito had used air quotes around "culturally enriching".

Shin nods at Claudia's words.

"I agree. Just why are you trying to slide by us, young man?"

His voice is level, slightly morose sounding, but there's a glint of resolve in his eyes.

Claudia's smile rapidly wanes into oblivion, and her hands begin to curl into fists. The look in her eyes begins to gain some measure of steel.

"...You lie to my face, and expect to be able to get past me to my child? Vi's car is not here. If it were a matter of urgency, you wouldn't have taken a random drive into the country. Shin narrows his eyes slightly, the resolve growing firmer in them. His voice goes from merely "glum" to "slightly annoyed".

Erima sighs and closes her notebook.
"Okay, finished. Are you sure you understand everything?" Erima asks Takara. There are some mikan on the table from Takara's mother for snack. Of course, now maybe half are missing.

The wind chime sings and the cicada still cry very loudly. It is sleepy and warm in this room, and still early evening.
It is a joy of summer - it is still light at such a time. Could that mean other adventures? Takara's mother had taken the uniforms to wash for school.

But the meaning is that I cannot use such a complaint. Was this tsukumogami's thought. Though Erima was a little restless too. A tsukumogami may be patient, but a human-like body is not like a scarf with that patience. And of course, a youkai and teenager are not so different with this.

He's sincere; while his attitude towards the girl was stiff and awkward at the beginning of the part, he seems much more relaxed and genuinely friendly now.

After having gotten the directions to the changing room, she headed over there to, well, change. Along the way though, she noticed the growing commotion by the doorway. Her attention diverted to the situation, positioning herself to where she could interfere if it was needed without seeming too blatant. After the situation died down, she went back along her merry way.

She came out of the changing room wearing a white bikini with black and gold trim. Said bikini was slightly revealing, but not provocative. That's not to say it won't have that effect on certain people, but nonetheless it wasn't the intent. This arrangement reveals more of her curves, also pointing out her physical fitness. She dives into the pool and begins swimming laps to test it out.

Shin guided his daughter to the entryway, stopping only to write down the care description and license plates for Claudia. He added his own contact information.

"In case I need to serve as a witness in some manner. Consider it my thanks for your looking after my daughter."

With that, Shin and Ayaka walked to the car. The mild-mannered dentist helped his daughter into her seat, then placed himself in the driver's seat.

Once they were headed down the road, he spoke again.

"Are you sure you'll be fine? I'm still scheduled to head out of town for that conference tomorrow, but I can cancel that if you're feeling badly."

He reaches over with one hand to gently squeeze her shoulder.

"You know I'm worried because I love you. I'd hate to see you get hurt."

He drops into silence for a bit, simply focusing on the road and his driving.

There is a beep, perhaps 45 seconds of waiting, then a new voice picks up the line.

"This is Police Inspector Watanabe Akira. I understand you are wishing to report suspicious behavior? Could you please go into more detail?"

"Oh. That's a pity." Yui tilts her head and blinks, her disappointment mixed with curiosity as she listens to Sören's accent and looks him over. "Are you a foreigner, too?", she asks cheerfully.

"Si, oui, ja, tak, yes. I was born in eastern Europe, but I went travelling as soon as I could. Must admit, the phrasing of your question surprises me. For a foreigner, your Japanese accent it excellent, and you seem to have the informal lingo and idioms down pat."
