Toby tries to hug her comfortingly, whispering sweet nothings into her ear.

Garth sighs watching all of the hearts finally float away. He stays sitting there for a while but eventually gets up and heads back to the camp.

Jamie is still alseep on the floor; presumably the fox-kids are either alseep or have scampered off for now...


Quinn's eyes widen a bit as her ear is whispered into, but she nods, then turns her head to try and kiss Tobias' cheek, and whisper back.

Toby smiles happily and kisses Quinn by way of reply, squeezing her tighter.

[Morty]

Reelshka decides to go looking for someone to ask what exactly is going on and whether she can do anything to help.

[The Bushranger]

Alex is still trimming the rosebushes.


Quinn, in the Infirmary, squeezes Toby back, and kisses him for a long, long moment before reluctantly pulling away. "So. I presume you have a plan ready, or are we not going to short-circuit the others?"

Garth waves a friendly hello as he passes. " Sorry about the bush. Didn't know that was going to happen with the flower. " He says as he passes.

Daisuke needs to be in with this. I think that if I do as Magtok suggested and act as a diversion, a very loud and threatening diversion, he can slip in and get her out. Oh, and if Zelvik there can really shadow-walk his way inside, he can help either one of us.

[Morty]

Reelshka approaches Alex slowly. Um, hi. Do you know what's been going on here for the last few days?

[The Bushranger]

Alex, the dusky-skinned, white-haired chap (not to be confused with all the other Alex/Alexi/Alexis-es), looks up, and nods in greeting. "Good afternoon. There seems to be a lot going on. Incluidng two dragon-hating Fey fighting, and a member departing indefinitly."
He doesn't know about the kidnapping.

Quinn nods, slowly. "And once she's out, then, we take them down. Hard, and fast." Her voice is a little cold, but probably not enough to make Toby have to worry about her Goodness.

[Morty]

Yes, I've seen the fights... the goblin says uncertainly. but there also seemed to be something going on around the infirmary.

[FireFox]

No, we're not going to attack back. That's what they're expecting. That's how they think. A disproportionately escalating cycle of revenge. We get Abigail back and then play defense. He shakes his head and tries to kiss her again. We make them come out of their own protections to mess with us...

[The Bushranger]

"Hm? I was...unaware of that," Alex admits. "I'd assume Miss Quinn would be the person to ask about that, she's the doctor."

As opposed to The Doctor, of course.

Quinn looks a bit uncertain, but has her worries removed by the kiss. Which she returns.
"Well. If...if you're sure. But if they ever try anything like this ever again..."

[Morty]

I guess I'll look for her, then...

They are just cowards. Not only do they go after children, but they go after the children of a pacifistic group. We need never fear cowards.

[The Bushranger]

"Ask her what she knows about blue rosebushes suddenly appearing, please," Alex says, nodding, then goes back to his gardening and NPC-hood.

Quinn nods, taking a deep breath. "You're right. And I guess we won't stoop to their level."

[Morty]

Reelshka goes to look for Quinn.

Quinn can be found in the Infirmary, talking with Tobias.

[Morty]

Reelshka sticks around and waits discreetly, not wanting to interrupt the conversation.

Toby's pretty much done with the conversation, and tries to avoid looking at the goblin too suspiciously.

Quinn turns to Reelshka, hearing her enter, and nods in greeting. "Hello, there. Can I help you with something?" she asks, politely, although her eyes are a bit...strained.

[Morty]

Well... Reelshka looks from Tobias to Quinn. I wanted to ask about what's been happening here for the last couple of days... I know something bad happened but I'm not sure what exactly.

[The Bushranger]

Quinn closes her eyes for a moment, then sighs.
"A friend of my daughter was kidnapped by AMEN. We're getting ready to go get her back.


Jamie is pretending to be asleep again.

[Morty]

Reelshka's eyes go wide. Earth Queen, that's terrible! Um... I wish I could help, but I don't think I can...

[The Bushranger]

"Don't worry, we'll make sure she's safe...and thanks. I know my daughter likes you, perhaps you could help to watch things here while we do our rescue mission?"

[Morty]

Sure! I'd love to. I can't fight, but I can look over things.

[The Bushranger]

"Well, then, that's settled. Thank you." Quinn smiles.
...presumably she introduced herself at some point.

[Morty]

Reelshka introduced herself when she first met Quinn. Great. I guess I'll stay in the infirmary for a while, then.

Ah, yes.
"That's fine. I could show you how to do basic first-aid, as well?" Quinn offers.

[Morty]

Yes, that would be good. Reelshka glances at the silent Tobias.
