Jamie wraps her arms around Toby's neck, and buries her face in his shoulder.

Like I said, probably to AMEN's base, but I don't know where that is... He rubs Jamie's back comfortingly and frowns.

Jamie relaxes a bit, but doesn't hold him any less tight.

We just got back from freeing our kids from them at a slave market... Toby smolders with a quiet anger and keeps comforting his daughter.

"No. They showed up halfway through our blasting the market," Quinn growls, getting angry again.

Jamie hugs Toby a little tighter.

"Not really," Quinn admits, sighing. "Shouldn't be too hard to find though..."

Jamie is kissed, smiles, and starts drifting off to sleep in Toby's arms, feeling reassured.

"I know who can help," Happy says. Wait when did she get here? Well, let's say she walked in normally and asked what was going on and got told because there's no reason Quinn wouldn't tell her and roleplaying an info dump is boring. "I can call Magtok."

Daisuke walks in, just in time to hear the words 'help' and 'Magtok' in connection. "Wait, what do we...

...Quinn, where is my daughter?"

Magtok? Selvik looks up at Happy. Then at Daisuke.

Oh. His daughter...awkward...

The blindfolded man just kind of shuffles to the side a little, sensing something's about to go down.

"Kidnapped by this Jack person," Quinn states, glaring at Daisuke with a 'we have this under control' look.

"You can?" she asks Happy, after a moment. "Please do..."

[horngeek]

Daisuke glares right back, with a look that might translate to 'given she was taken from under your noses, I doubt that'.

He looks at Happy. "If you think he can be trusted..."

"I trust him," Happy says. "And he knows more about AMEN than anyone else."

She takes out her phone and calls Magtok, giving him the info dump if he answers.

Daisuke sighs. "If he decides to help me."

Magtok might just decide to gloat, after all.

Quinn glares back with a 'we were deadtimed' look.
And watches, as Happy makes her call!

Magtok sighs over the phone, holding it close to his ear to minimize the sounds of lasers, planes, and revolution in the background.

Kidnapping children? Really? I knew AMEN wasn't the place I used to frequent, but...Anyways, okay. I'll help. Not for Daisuke, but because I can't stand the idea of just leaving a kid with those nincompoops. Prolly already forgot to feed her. Don't teleport past the front door, I set up a cow launcher back in the day to hit people in the face for making flashy entrances not involving the clearly-marked front door. I'm not sure if that's still up, but it's probably not worth chancing.

From what I can tell, Phantom and his cronies are kinda oblivious to everything, and there's not too many of them. Set up a distraction somewhere, and Phanny will probably send most, if not his whole crew over to attack, leaving the base vulnerable.

Front door should be unlocked to allow for any potential new recruits, and so long as you're not recognized upon entry, everything should go fine...I think. I'm only aware of the way things were back then, I don't know the full extent of the 3D glasses-wearing guy's modifications. Anything else you might need to know?

Selvik speaks up. Are the shadows restricted in any way? Like, preventing people from moving through them.

He's already got ideas.

Happy puts Magtok on speakerphone so everyone else can hear his advice and asks questions.

Daisuke frowns. "Are there any members you might know of who are still around there?"

Shadows are fine. And I'm afraid all of the vets are long gone, none doing active duty at the place anymore. We kinda went our separate ways not long after Happy's marriage, I think. Waaaaay back. Fun, interesting people who'd shank you as soon as shake your hand, if not both at the same time. Anyways, yeah. All gone.

Well, everyone except Moff. But he was kinda low level back then, more henchperson or minion material than anything else, except he doesn't even really go with orders or authority too well, either. I know of some of the current group, but didn't really talked much with them. Requiem never struck me as particularly driven, and seems downright casual about the whole enterprise. Maybe bribery or persuasion could get her out of the way?

As for the rest, I'm thinking violence is the best approach. If you get a chance, kill Moff fast, so he doesn't run that irritating mouth of his. I swear, being killed by Ashna would've been tolerable if not for his ranting...Anyways, Gordon is a coward. If you can intimidate him with a large enough force, he'll run to fight another day. Or right into a trap of yours, whichever. Oh, and watch for helicopters if you're outdoors.

See, I can move through shadows. I can jump in one, move along it, come out another, whatever. I just have to know where the shadow is first, so I know it's available.

I'm thinking I can sneak in somehow, maybe as a new recruit. Find where the kids are, grab them, hop into a shadow, pop outta one here.

Quinn listens, while Jamie finally lets go of Tobias, climbs down (after kissing his cheek) and hurries over to huggle Sinopa tightly.
