"Adventure, thats a little streatch of what I actually do I go around and see what happens and surprisingly alot happens when you look for it, so if you seek adventure you will find adventure, I find what interest me."

Enoc says quickly and with a cheery voice.

Aldous stops in his tracks, furrowing his brow in confusion at the monk's response. Gee, he thinks, this guy sure has funny ways of looking at things. Placing his hands on his hips, the boy speaks proudly. "I sure would get revenge on an animal that bit me. Maybe I'd rig up a cage to trap it and zap it a little, or maybe I'd just step on its tail. It hurts me, I hurt it back. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't hurt a dog for going on the floor, or just to be mean or anything, but biting me is a whole other matter."

The boy almost wonders if he should ask his next question...almost. Discretion has never been one of his strong suits. "So tell me, Mister Tevash, how did you escape the burning monastery?"

Tevash sighs again, this time more disappointed than nostalgic. "Yes, it seems I have been in the company of druids far too long. You may see the world differently when you are older, but if you do not, I would not be surprised. We are who we live and grow with, and it seems my way of looking at things is the minority here. Ah, but look at me, preaching the Way to a child." Tevash says, smiling to himself. "I suppose you want to hear of my daring adventure eh? Well I've had a few in my time, but this certainly was not one of them. I was but a boy when it happened, younger than you. Everything was chaos, I can only remember running franticly down the mountain, tripping, and tumbling all the way to the bottom. I was very lucky. I still hope there has been at least one other as lucky as me, but unfortunately, I have yet to succeed. That is enough of my past I'm afraid. You've drained me dry! Tell more about the ah, what was it? Militiaman? And Crais? I don't wish to ask any stupid questions when we get there."

Aldous' eyes grow wide as Tevash recounts his tale. Ooh, that sounds absolutely terrifying!" he gasps, "I hope you find your friends, mister...Well, the Militiaman is this rundown old inn that I've been living in. It's got all sorts of nifty passages and crawlspaces and the like. Crais, he owns the place. He's pretty nice, but sometimes he can be really grumpy and serious. He lets me stay there since I set up his security system. Maybe you can stay too, but I don't know what we'd have you do. Can you cook? Crais doesn't eat all that much, but I like good food whenever I can get it. Oh, also, don't be scared to crane your neck when you meet Crais; he floats in midair. The young boy rattles off this strange truth as if it was nothing--as if he had told you the color of Crais' hair, or his height. "Mister Tevash, do you know how to make bacon and eggs? My mother makes a mean bacon and eggs. Do you have any children?"

After some faffing about with security systems , Robert enters the dilapidated inn. "Erm..Nice place you have here. I'm Robert by the way." And with that, Robert settles down in a seat, pulls out a flask, presumably containing spirits of some kind, and takes a swig. "I don't suppose you know how to play Conqueror?"

Tevash ***** his eye uncertainly at the boy, wondering if he was serious.
"He... floats? This Crais is a magic user of some kind?" Tevash says curiously. "I can cook... to some extent. But I have never cooked for another before, and I most certainly do not have any children! Do I look I have children?"

"Well I was brought here via several things realy, a while back I felt the urge to walk, any where realy, so I did start down the road from my home, several days agao I walked up to a cross roads, now I had to choose which way to go and in the end someone else chose for me, further up the right side of the road I saw a carrige getting attacked, well I went up to it to see if I could help the bandits had run off at that point and I found the man which owned the carrige, poor halfling trpped under the wheel."

Enoc stops to drink some water.

"Were was I, oh yes the carrige, well I thought to myself that this road was already being more interesting than the other so I carred on up it, well one thing lead to another and I ended up here."

Suddenly a hooded man sitted on the table to the corner aproches you.
Adventurer, you said? he asks
Ooc: Usal npc talk with this colour

To the NPC: "What of it?"

And as for the color...he could have gone with white.

OOC: Ouch, you sure you want to do NPCs with that color? You might want something a little darker than that. Don't be afraid to take a player color if you want it. I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

Aldous shrugs his shoulders and states matter-of-factly: You're bald, and so's my father. And so's my friend Marcus' father, and my friend Sara's, and my friend Julian's. Just thought I'd ask. I look forward to tasting your eggs and bacon--the last time I tried to make it, I started a small fire. It was an accident, but Crais still got mad. He made me build a fire extinguisher with legs to crawl around the kitchen and follow me whenever I'm in there. Well, technically, he just asked me to keep a bucket of water around...the legs and tracking capability were my idea. Oh, yeah, and Crais. He doesn't really use any magic or anything; it's just on account of him being dead. If it makes you uncomfortable, I could probably rig up some levitation boots for you!"

Remembering the monk's simple lifestyle, the boy grins sheepishly. "Sorry, I forgot. You really don't use anything, huh? What's that like?"
