There is no form. There is only Zuul. Oh wait, this is AMEN. The form says random things like "Have you ever owned a puppy?" and "How do you feel about the effects of global warming?". The answers don't matter. I doubt anyone looks over it, the only reason for the forms in the first place is to trick people into bleeding on a piece of paper. That or they're required to summon an eldritch abomination. I really don't know. (Note: the above was completely guesswork and is in no way true. Don't quote me on it.)

"And exactly why won't you tell me your name?"

Jack sneers at the two of them. "Just sign the form, smokey. I'm sure Gordon would like to see you two, and we don't have time to argue."

((okay. Are there any henchmen left in the room?))

Nope, between the exalted and the base, there's not a single henchmen in the room, they got fried.

[Moff Chumley]

If Jack has a phone, it'll ring and a voice will quickly spit out the following: Hey, yo, Jack, after the embassy job, I got a bit side-tracked. I'm off in this place called Felina, can you pick me up?

And Shrike is standing where the floor finally stopped disintrigrating, trying to gauge the distance to see if she can Monkey Leap her way back...

Anshu and Cerise descend to stand next to Shrike. "The lever is part of the controls for the cannon. Now we just need to find out where the cannon is."

Anshu concentrates, extending his awareness to determine where there are any henchmen. ((Presumably they've been cloned by now, right?))

While many of the henchmen are at the cloning vaults, however two of them, are standing in the waiting room to Gordon's office.

(Remember that unless they go through the walls, that the only place they are going is to the mirror room.)

Jack picks up his cell phone, which he does in fact have. "Um... ok? I suppose? I mean, the Exalted are still hammering the base. It's not exactly the best time for this."

[Moff Chumley]

Aww, come on, it'll just take a moment.

Apparently The Moff considers his boredom a bigger threat than the Exalted.

[Murkus]

Jack gives a mock-sigh. "Fine. I need to know the location, if I'm going to come. Maybe you could take a picture with your cell phone, and I can just flit on over?"

[Moff Chumley]

Will do, my friend. A picture should show up in a moment, displaying a playground in Felina.

[Murkus]

Jack teleports there, then!

The Moff steps off of the Yellow Road. So, what's new?

[Murkus]

Jack looks around. "Well, we have another old member returning. A vampire of some sort. Then another new member. And... I think the Exalts are still working at destroying our cannon. Bout it."

A name isn't something to be pandered about! Names have power! Call me Xavier. The dwarf says, signing the form in his blood, with an X. I always liked that name. Now. To Gordon, right? He says, strolling off in the direction he assumes Gordon's office is.

"Well, thagt shouldn't be too hard, should it?" Shrike smirks, and swings her daiklave in an arc through the air, letting it sing as it cleaves the air molecules. "Just point me at it and turn me loose, and this, will be an ex-cannon."

"It's not our ability to destroy it that's in doubt. Just the ability to find it."

"We need to capture some of the henchmen here and interrogate them," Anshu says.

"Or eat them," Cerise adds under her breath.

Anshu pretends not to hear, and opens the door they entered, heading down the hall and looking for branching passages that seem likely to lead toward a henchman.

Rogar and Sweetums sit on chairs outside Gordon's office. The door to his office is locked.

[Murkus]

Adrian's still in Gordon's office, you know.

Meanwhile, Jack approaches that same office, perhaps followed by the other AMEN members (Rot, Moff, and Xavier, if they feel like following).

Jack nods to Sweetums in a friendly manner, grateful for the delicious fudge, and hails Rogar. "Oy, Rogar, I need an update on what's going on with the Exalts. Where I need to be."

The hallway offers no side passages, just a door at the far end of it.

Presumably, they reach the door and open it.

Vampire Rot follows Jack, but eyes the other members with suspicion. Especially the dwarf.

"A name holds no power. It is just a label. Anyway, any mage powerful enough to use your name against you could probably blow a fireball in your face."

Lethargia

Magtok, sitting on the edge of the flying castle town and tinkering with one of the recently looted mecha-suits, is quite safe from the ongoing conflict down below with the Exalted.

He's also quite bored, incidentally. This whole sitting around, waiting for the Exalted to get exasperated and leave strategy isn't working quite as well as AMEN had hoped, it seems.

Ebon, Darcy, Elly? Whomever's still up here with me? This has gone on long enough, I've an idea.

"Yes?" Ebon Mirror's zombie vessel responds.

[EleventhHour]

"Idea? I love ideas. Lets go do something." Like leave, and not go find the insane forehead knifeeating kid again. She adds silently, looking down from her perch on the back of the nearest bench, chair, or whatever. "Whole wide world and we get to sit here. Yaaawn."

Magtok stands up and stares down at the AMEN base, frowning as he makes an effort to look contemplative before speaking up again.

Well...they're here to destroy the lava cannon, and none of our present arsenal seems to be slowing them down sufficiently, so...what of a treaty? We take down half of the lava cannon, or some key bit to controlling it or something, give it to them, and have them agree to leave immediately?

While they're happily taking their useless spoils, a squad of us takes position on their route back home, sets up some sort of ward to disable their magicky abilities, and then we explode their faces off with the element of surprise, take back our stuff, and then go back home to cheers and applause and Gordon feeling silly for not thinking of the idea himself.

"Seems suitably clever," Ebon Mirror comments.

"Sure, why not?" Darcy says, who is a little tipsy from something. Bottle of wine? Intoxicate self spell? Zombie mech embalming fumes? "Only drag me along on autofollow, because my player already took her sleeping pill." Or maybe she's tipsy from sleeping pill side effects leeching through the fourth wall.

Behind the door, is a large circular room. In the center of the room is a large black mirror.

(Who's standing right in the door, and would be reflected?)

Well then, Anshu's reflection while for a moment acts normal, smiles an evil smile and steps out of the mirror.

(Rules of this event: Your'e reflected in the mirror, copy comes out. Copy has all the things you have, but the only thing the copy wants is for the original to be dead. You get to control the copies since well, they are your characters.)
