[Moff Chumley]

The Moff shrugs, as if nothing remarkable is happening.
See, Gordon, this is exactly what we're talking about. It's not an insult; no need to get your panties in a twist. I have nothing but, er, respect for you. I'm just lookin' out for greater AMEN. Your management style is effective, but in these, well, sensetive times, we need someone a little more cautious. I'm sure you understand.

The Moff seems to be enjoying himself, even.

[Lady Tialait]

CT walks about the base painting everything with fish guts.

"Lalalalala, who wants some?"

CT smiles sweetly waiting for someone to talk to her, the fools.

Gordon stares at Moff.

"You short sighted fool. You have no idea how I can make even a failed plan into a better one."

Gordon goes dragon.

"And now, I think you'll help AMEN by serving as my dinner!"

And now Gordon tries to grab the Moff, while the henchmen do their best to keep Moff from getting away.

[Moff Chumley]

Listen man, I'm being perfectly reasonable and polite. If you think you should remain at the helm, feel free to let us know why, without eating us. But I'm afraid the other members aren't going to be too happy when they find out what happened here. This is a case in point of your poor management style: faliure to take criticism. If only you were a little more humble, AMEN would still want you as their leader. It's really a shame. As he speaks, The Moff fumbles around the base of his skull. Once he finishes his little speach, he presses a tiny button. Backup. Password Swordfish Beta Two.

The Moff pulls out a small revolver and smiles beneficently.

"You think reacting violently to being told you were plotted against isn't reasonable. Plotting isn't criticism. Besides, this is AMEN, humble isn't a virtue that's rewarded here."

Gordon tries to shake Moff around until he drops the revolver.

[Moff Chumley]

The Moff stays clingy, unfortunately. Plotting is such a harsh word. Now, please put me down so we can talk about this reasonably.

(That's okay, I have to go soon myself.)

Gordon puts Moff down.

"Alright then, but there is still a likely chance you will be punished for plotting. "

Ebon Mirror watches impassively. If the Moff gets himself killed out of stupidity by moving before everything required for the plan is in place, so much the better; the coup plans moving forward will be made by intelligent people.

Xavier, currently looking exactly like Tobias, walks in on KR and Jack.

Need any help? He asks. It's up to them how this can be interpreted.

(Un)Fortunately, KR doesn't know Tobias, so rightly assuming Xavier-as-Tobias is another AMENite, he gets a rather large gun pointed at him too!

Woah! Okay! Calm down now! I don't really wanna hurt you aside from the general unpleasantness I imagine most people feel towards strangers. Xavier says. So if you just wanna keep threatening my fellow member, I'll be happy to watch.

He looks around for a seat and, finding a stool, seats himself on it, and watches KR and Jack.

*Wonders what will happen if KR meets Toby*

I bet they'd be really good friends... >.>

[Murkus]

Jack pauses after KR finishes. "Well, damn. I thought that'd be more interesting." His eyes roll, and he taps a finger against his upper arm. "Hm. Again, you've caught me a bit off-guard, KR."

"What could you have that I'd be interested in..." Jack ponders. "Or..."

The hollow man shrugs. "Oh well. I can't think of anything. So no dagger for you."

(I thought he teleported by opening portals to the yellow road? )

[Murkus]

(Actually, I never really decided. Sometimes it seemed instantaneous. But, for the sake of fairness, I'll clarify and make it he has to open portals.

Which also means my last action has to be retconned. Okey dokey, lemme edit.)

[Ashen Lilies]

"I see."
She slowly pulls out a wand of Dimension Lock.
"Well, I do have some methods of persuasion."
She attempts to use the wand on Jack!

[Murkus]

This attempt is successful. Jack really hates having his freedom constrained. "Alright. Fine. But don't think you'll get anything out of me by using that."

He sounds pretty annoyed.

[Ashen Lilies]

She pulls out a netgun, and attempts to fire it at Jack. If it hits, it will bundle him up tighter than two rappers who've been best friends with each other since childhood.
"No, of course not. It just makes itthat much easier to kidnap you."

[Murkus]

Question: is he able to reach his sword?

Also, this is successful as well. Jack gets bundled up. This net best be magical and superstrong, or he's just gonna bust out.

"Kidnap me? Really? And then what? You won't get the dagger either way."

[Ashen Lilies]

Superstrong, yes. Magical, no. Whether he can reach his sword is dependant on his position before he was netted.
"That's a little premature, don't you think? I'm sure we can think of something to coerce you. And if all else fails, we'll just seal you in a block of diamond or something and through you into an oceanic trench. Problem solved."
A telekinetic shunt to get him off the sofa, and KR will attempt to roll him along with her boot, keeping the elephant disintegrator trained on him as she does so.

[Murkus]

Jack sighs dramatically as he's rolled along. This must be a slow process. "Gods, fine. Unless you can think of something very... persausive." Jack grins at her through the net. "You still won't get the dagger. Honestly, this is no trouble to me. I haven't been kidnapped in some time."

[Ashen Lilies]

Jack gets no answer.
*roll roll roll*
Assuming no one stops them, or Jack doesn't make a bid for freedom, she may well roll him out of the base!
...
And even all the way to WATCHTOWER!
...
That's kind of a long journey...

"Hold it!"

A group of henchmen are standing between KR and the door.

"Drop him, our boss wants a word with him."

[Murkus]

Jack makes no bid, though his hand steadies around his sword grip, which would in fact be reachable from where he was sitting.

Other than this, he waits for the henchies to distract KR.

[Moff Chumley]

The Moff is put down, and he holsters his revolver. I'm not expecting you to do anything at the moment, Gordon, I'd just appreciate it if you considered what I have to say, it's that simple. Don't take it personally. The Moff will attempt to slouch out of the room.

the sound of several Helicopters can be heard in the distance

[ThePhantom]

"Fine then."

Gordon looks toward the outside of the base.

"Why are there helicopters outside?"

[Moff Chumley]

As The Moff escapes, he fist pupms enourmously, savoring the look on Gordon's face. For the next half hour, he scurries around the base, setting his plan into motion. At one point, a large crate goes down into the cloning facility, and comes back up singificantly heavier. A truck is commendeered, making its way up to the floating island.

All the while, a haunting harmonica melody fills the base, making it nearly impossible to have any idea what The Moff is doing, or to even see him.

Gordon sends a henchman to see what's with the helicopters, while he goes looking for healing potions.

Other henchmen keep an eye on the cloning vault, to make sure Moff doesn't do something rash there. Its their health and lives on the line here.
