Gordon facepalms with his left hand, his right arm still in a case.

"No, his name is Rot, and he's not here right now."

The man tipped his hat at Darcy.

"Very well, it is an act of kindness rejected that ends a life."

((Hehe... I think Darcy's the only non-conspirator in the entire membership.))

"Ebon's a vampire?" Darcy asks, not having met Rot. "Can Exalted do that?" Then the filthy blood drinker speaks to her. "I wouldn't ask a stranger for help." she says icily to the vampire.

((Well, Ebon Mirror can drink blood...))

[Moff Chumley]

((What typo? Where? ))

So, you're holding up your end of the plan, yes? I'm afraid we're going to have to dispose of the remaining henchmen.

"Hihi hihi. Very true."

Well, its looks like Gordon likes the new guy.

"And people who randomly change text color are especially untrustworthy," Darcy says. "It usually indicates either possession or insanity."

The man seemed confused.

"What?"

"Just an observation. Something I've noticed in my years in the Nexus." Darcy says, as her memory is suddenly edited to show that Rificul's voice never changed.

Al walks over to Gordon currently thinking of how to try and control raw divine energy that you extract from someone. " You said you wanted me to do something, yes? "

The man doffs his hat.

"Mistakes happen, Ma'am."

Rificul turns to Gordon.

"If there is another of my kind on a mission, I would love to join him. What, per tell is this mission?"

So, you're holding up your end of the plan, yes? I'm afraid we're going to have to dispose of the remaining henchmen.

Ebon Mirror works some subtle magic to carry his and the Moff's voices down the halls to Gordon.

"What plan? What are you talking about?" he says coldly. "You mean that inane scheme of yours to depose Gordon, which you revealed to him at the drop of a hat? You're as delusional as you are stupid if you think I'd take part in such a plan. Even leaving your stupidity aside, there's no reason I should. A new head of AMEN could very well end the alliance I've formed with Gordon."

[Moff Chumley]

The Moff is unsuprised at Ebon Mirror's reaction, but bitterly dissapointed. The man isn't even a member of AMEN and he's the most powerful person in the base. But, he's an exalted. No honor, no dignity, not even the decency to be in the same room as a conversation before listening in on it. Of course, he's probably only trying to distance himself from The Moff before carrying on with the plan as expected.

It's no scheme. Just because we're evil doesn't mean we can't be resonable people, does it?

Rificul turns to Gordon.

"Yes I do, Allen. One moment please."

Gordon looks back at Rificul.

"I think you should stay here. What Rot is doing right now could result in his complete distruction. I don't want to put more people at risk than I have too."

[Moff Chumley]

...unless there's even a remote chance they've talked to The Moff in the last year.

[Lady Tialait]

Rificul nods to Gordon. He then steps out the door and a BANG is heard as he shoots a squirrel and picks it up walking back into the base after wiping his feet. He sits down with the squirrel still panting as the bullet wound only immobilized him. Rificul carefully takes the squirrel to the kitchen and gets a tea cup. He then rinses the cup off and takes a saucer and places the cup on the small plate. He then breaks the neck of the squirrel draining the blood from the soft furry creature into his cup before discarding the carcass.

"Very well then. I shall be here if you need me."

The vampire says as he walks by Gordon on his way to a comfortable chair. Sitting upon it and drinking his cup of blood.

((Actually I did describe Ebon Mirror being present when Moff was talking to Gordon earlier))

Ebon Mirror watches impassively. If the Moff gets himself killed out of stupidity by moving before everything required for the plan is in place, so much the better; the coup plans moving forward will be made by intelligent people.

" 'Being reasonable' does not include allying myself with a moron," Ebon Mirror points out, at last finding an OR to use. His zombies and scientists enter. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have work to do." Ebon moves to close the door in the Moff's face.

"Alright then."

Gordon stares a little. Its a bit unnerving to see a dude shoot a squirrel, pick it up, and put the blood into a tea cup to drink.

[Moff Chumley]

Keeping up an act is one thing, but that's just rude.

The Moff does not appreciate rudeness.

There WILL be a reckoning.

Al waits patiently as he has plenty to think of.

"Oh yes."

Gordon turns to Al, and opens up an elevator.

"If you would follow me up?"

Al nods and steps into the elevator. " Of course. Though I do hope you explain more carefully what you want from me. "

After the doors close, and the elevator heads up, Gordon turns to Allen.

"I want a creature who can change its shape, and capable of tracking down and dealing with intruders. It needs to be lava proof, and able to go through the vents. And of course, able to take orders."

[Lady Tialait]

After finishing a delightful cup of tea Rificul pulls out his blood stained hankie and wipes up before standing up and wandering around the base. Hopefully noticed by The Moff or the Ebon Mirror.

Al chuckles and then laughs a bit. " Really? That's it? I can knock that out easily. Dog or wolf, shapeshifter, and a fire demon or something like that. Easy. " He says with a wave of his hand. " Anything else you want of it? "

[Moff Chumley]

He'll probably run into The Moff. New member? So what did you think of Glorious and Fearless leader?

"Just one more thing, it has to be very hard to kill. Shoot it in the head, it should keep going, that sort of thing."

Al nods and hmms in thought. " Now that part is a bit more tricky... Though I think I might know how to do it. "

[Lady Tialait]

Rificul looks at the Moff, and tips his hat before speaking.

"Gordon? I found him an interesting being. Disturbed by my habits, as should any living be. I would say he's a fine fellow. He will die like the rest, sadly. I will morn his passing."

Rificul fingered his cane slightly then spoke again.

"And whom do I have the pleasure of addressing?"

[Elevator]

Gordon tries to give Allen a slap on the back.

"Good. Just let me know if you need anything, and I'll get it for you."

And the elevator stops, opening to the lab of Allen's dreams.

"I hope you like your lab."

[Moff Chumley]

I'm The Moff, and unfortunately I can't share your opinion of the man. He can be charming, I suppose, when he's not a paranoid, politically inept wreck.
