Ebon Mirror and his pet scientists continue their work; as they go on, the scientists are able to install the upgrades more and more quickly; the alterations Ebon Mirror is performing are surprisingly swift, and so do not impose a lower limit on how much time is required.

Jack swings around the room, feet practically cracking the marble/concrete/whatever at the speed he's moving, and heads straight for KR.

While she's firing the disintegrator, the hollow man will suddenly attempt to tackle her down, headfirst against the floor. Hopefully with some sort of satisfying crack. He'll also grab for her weapon, hoping to keep it from being pointed at himself.

The Moff smoothly ducks under the energy beam, then trips over the net. He stumbles towards KR, and attempts to shank her. His combined imbalance and incredible luck should make the blow extremely difficult to dodge. Will you people please... just... get... OUT!

KR is tackled, and the crack is indeed most satisfying. This may cause the Moff to accidentally shank Jack instead. Whatever happens next, both of them may find themselves flung against the opposite wall by a telekinetic shockwave.

The Moff is indeed flung. That's gonna leave a nasty bruise... he stands up shakily. You people with your magical princess superpowers bug me, you know that? Obviously, The Moff is lumping KR in with the Exalted.

Jack is tossed away, smashing into a lamp and knocking it over. He picks himself up almost immediately, steadying his sword and glancing towards KR. "That... all you got?" Jack says, staggering a bit. "Damn I'm tired."

Ebon Mirror chuckles. "It wasn't really my choice. I was pulled from Anshu's dreams once he came here looking for his daughter. You see, all Solars have the potential to become Abyssals, like me, and vice versa. They are aspected toward light and life and so on and so forth, whereas we are aspected toward darkness and death."

And everything Ebon Mirror just said was entirely true.

"Yes, after a fashion. Obviously, since I'm not inside his head anymore, we've been having different experiences and developing in different ways, but at base, yes. I am he and he is me." And we are all together, goo goo g'joob.

Gordon sighs. Great, just great. One more thing that might make his plans go down the drain.

KR catches the knife, and throws it back, standing up straight. Her right arm appears to be broken however, snapped when Jack rammed her against the wall.

And off Gordon goes, looking for an ice pack.

And so Ebon and his scientists go back to work enhancing the henchmen.

Oh, really? The Moff mutters. Deciding to stretch his already insane luck, kicks the knife back towards KR, just as accurately as it were thrown. Catch this, why don't you? The Moff pulls out another four knives in one hand, and hurls them at KR. Look, why are you still here?

The five knives stop just short of KR, and go hurtling back. Yay telekinesis.
"Too easy."
Especially with a statement like 'catch this'. What was the Moff thinking!
"Your buddy stole something that belongs to me. I want it back."
She wants it, precioussss...

Aw, come on. That's hardly sporting; I've had plenty of stuff stolen, and you know what I did? I got over it. The Moff doesn't do anything else; this is quickly becoming a tougher fight than he can handle. Ain't nothing he can do against someone who can stop all his attacks with magic...

Darcy walks in on the fight, drinking her diet coke. "Hey if we gave whole Exalted army our strongest weapon to make them go away, then I guess giving one of em a dagger for the same purpose is a bargain deal in comparison."

She shrugs at Moff. "Sorry. I'd help out, but my player took her sleeping pills an hour ago and is about to start hallucinating dancing walrus ghosts and worse if she doesn't sleep."
