Work continues at a feverish pace; each henchman only takes one hour to enhance. Two of the less surgically-inclined scientists, finding their expertise unneeded, are sent off (with ninja zombie escort) to investigate the cloning facilities and evaluate the modifications that will need to be made.

Rificul awakens, hungry. He walks outside and shoots a crow, wounding it so it may not fly. He walks back into the base and finds a bowl. Plucking the crow still alive body and squeezing it so it's bile and digestive fluids empty into the bowl. He grins as he slowly squeezes it to blood comes out of the beak of the helpless bird. Blood going down the body as large chunks of feather are ripped off. The now dead bird is unceremoniously tossed into a garbage can. Rificul takes a spoon to the mixture of bile, guts, blood, and partly digested food.

"Breakfast of champions."

Taking a spoonful and eating it. He wonders through the base, running into someone...i'm sure.

The Moff rubs his hands together. Well, Gordon's henchmen are going to be problematic. Ebon Mirror's, er, dealt with most of them, but Gordon's kept the named ones loyal to him. We can always just kill 'em, but if we can get 'em on our side using magic, all the better. Out of curiosity, what IS your strongest type of spell?

Magtok wanders past Rificul, on his way to go do something important elsewhere, when he abruptly whirls around to confirm what it was that he saw (and smelled) in that bowl.

Oh gods...are you eating that? That's...that is so foul, how could you...How do you even stand the smell? Excuse me-

He abruptly turns away, intent on finding a garbage can to vomit in. This goes...

Magtok makes the mental connection between bird corpse and bowl of gore, and loses what little still remained of his breakfast. He promptly winces, and shakily wobbles off to recover from this unexpected assault on his mind.

That's...eurgh, that is twelve different kinds of wrong.

You are aware it hasn't been 36 hours yet? KR asks the mental presence, mentally!
Poor girl. Can't even singlehandedly assault a base without daddy popping up to bail her out.

Ilpholin's compliment is not reciprocated or even acknowledged. KR doesn't swing that way! I'm not sure she even swings at all... it's more of a slight wobble...

She makes no move to react to Jack advancing on her.

I think Ilpholin is missing the point of a fight.

Nephrim is here! And looking for Gordon, wearing the form of the blonde elf-girl and a tartan dress; her original one got shredded, I believe. Also, she has a red rucksack upon her back.

Rificul looks to Magtok.

"My apologies for your lost breakfast, sir. My meals have become less healthy with the loss of my finite sense of time. I gained immortality, and a taste for blood."

The man sets the bowl down having finished his breakfast and tips his hat to Magtok. Bowing slightly.

"I am Rificul Malkav, at your service."

And there's Gordon. Looks like he was waiting for something.

"Nephrim, your'e back! I have lots of things to tell you."

Weird, I don't remember since Requiem left that Gordon smiled that wasn't connected to an evil scheme.

Unfortunately, Nephrim was called back to the Abyss shortly after Requiem left, hence why she was looking for Gordon. That means she is unaware of such evil plots.

"Hello Gordon. I have just returned from the Abyss; some stupid Baatezu tried to invade and I was needed to lead the army of my liege. What's happened whilst I was away?" Since there seems to be a mutiny in the making, it may be a good idea to inform her. If only so I know what's going on.

"Well, we got a number of new members, and a few old ones, including Magtok. However, my plans to deal with the exalted went down the drain, and they destroyed the cannon."

Gordon's teeth goes dragonic from anger.

"And I found out that a number of the member are plotting against me. I can only trust you, and the people who came here after I learned about the plot."

"Don't worry Gordon. I will support you, don't worry. As will Dam'Bul." Her support is due more to the fact she knows how manipulatable Gordon is (not very); whilst Nephrim would like a leader whose easier to control, that leader must be under her control. But even so, she's trustworthy.

"Do you have Faith in me, Gordon?" Answering this question may further a semi-plot I have pseudo-formulated during my break.

The answer may wait until tomorrow, as I must Deadtime.

"Faith? An odd choice of words for a fallen angel. But, to answer your question. I trust you to act in your own interests, but I believe that we work together well."

After all, Nephrim is a demon. Smart people don't trust them much.

The Moff condiders for a moment, and then opens the note, facing the wall. So if it's a trap of some sort, it goes off in the wrong direction.
