The Moff shows Darcy the note and waves at one of Gordon's survellience cameras. Anyhow, Darcy, do you think you can make that happen?

Jack gets smashed in the sternum area and then hooked across the face with an elbow. Ow. He takes a step back, shaking his head very briefly, and then rushes forward, swinging his sword sideways towards KR's abdomen.

KR leaps back, getting a thin slash above her navel, and retreats back some more, drawing a blaster pistol which she will... shoot with. Pew pew pew.
This is one of those times she wishes she wasn't absolutely useless in general melée. And she doubts Jack is going to be as easily disarmed as your average sword-wielding lunatic.

Ilpholin is still ignored.

Ilpholin watches KR closely, her flowing movements entrancing her. The way her muscles ripple, her cloak billowing...
"Hey. Hey. Hey. If you promise to take me out on a date, I won't interfere with your fight."

This is about when the front door is liable to be getting telekinetically ripped off by DC, who, still cloaked, has arrived at the base! Whoo.

Unless it's particularly strongly attached or telekinesis-proofed or something. Someone should say so now if that is the case.

Unless, of course, it's open, in which case he just hovers on in. I still don't know.

Shame she didn't bring some bigger firepower. Or still had her disintegrator. Because the blaster shots don't do more than blast away a few more chunks of his husk.

Jack just laughs and dashes forward, trying to give her a hook hard enough to break bones, send people flying, etc.

And yes, the doors get broken off. Unfortunately, since the base is wrecked, and lots of people are dead, no one comes immediately to stop DC. However, henchmen may be mobilizing.

Including some of the newly-enhanced henchmen! They move to keep DC from getting too far into the base.

Oh look, that got her attention. You can tell that you've got her attention because she's stopped shooting and giving Ilpholin a shocked lo- BAM!
Of course she's surprise hooked and sent flying across the room.

You already broke her arm and stopped her from using half her weapons, now you wanna break more stuff!?

Ilpholin winces and boos Jack.
"Don't get hit! Come on. Beat him up good! Kick his ass! Win a date!"

Jack shoots Ipholin a cold look. "Really now? Is this really the best time?"

At which point, he proceeds to dash towards KR, wherever she might be laying, and try to pick her up roughly by the neck.

"I'll make sure Watchtower gets whatever's left." His grin says smoothly.

DC didn't intend on getting too far into the base anyway.

Unless I misread and the current fight is not in the entrance area.

Assuming it is, though (as I recall henchmen getting between KR and the door, which I admittedly may have jumped to conclusions about), Jack's dash might get interrupted by a forcefield suddenly popping up between him and KR.

Slamming into that at high speed won't be very pleasant.

KR is either in a chokehold, or getting up behind a forcefield. Any jokes relating to a certain cat will be taken out and shot.

((No, that is where they stopped her, unfortunately. Though DC might've had a long walk from the entrance to the lobby/entrance room, as the hallway is designed for a certain trap.))

Jack is dashed against a forcefield, twisting his limbs and head against the wall of psychic energy, and he proceeds to fall backwards.

He tries, with significant difficulty, to slowly untwist his damaged limbs. He also seems very tired/wounded, if you could call it that.

"Why can't I... kill anyone without some of their <censored> pals busting in to save the day?"

"Hey! My previous statement still stands. Promise me a date and there is no interference on my part!"

Surely you want to date the AMEN nymph, right KR?

DC's cloaking device is now deactivated, revealing that he's hovering slightly in the air, with this gun pointed down at Jack, only now it's loaded with a red power cell, rather than a blue one.

"Shut up and burn." DC opens fire on the fallen Jack, in a much more literal sense than might be expected, thanks to that particular power cell making the weapon fire jets of elemental flame.

Jack starts to peel himself off the floor as the flame hits, and he screams violently. The jet of flame dashes him across the floor, throwing him into a table and sending him over. Out of sight, unless DC flies over there.

A smell of smoking flesh fills the room. There is no further sound from Jack.

Looks like DC might've gotten his wish.

((It was between KR and Jack, not Jack and DC. >.> Either way, it probably should've been dropped once it served its purpose.))

((The forcefield is like a flat pane separating KR and Jack. DC has a clear line of sight, by my reckoning.))

"Yeah. Sure. Friday night fine for you darling?" KR says sarcastically, reaching for her net gun. She steps warily towards the burning wreck that was Jack.

"GREAT! I'll pick you up at 8. Have someplace nice picked out that you want to go."

The enhanced henchmen arrive, their arms already transformed into submachineguns. They open fire on DC.

The enhanced henchmen will likely find their attack blocked by a new forcefield, the flame-gun's fire temporarily blocked as well. "Oh, joy." The henchmen will probably notice that the forcefield is acting rather strange-it's not staying in one place, but moving towards them.

They concentrate their fire on a specific portion of it, hoping to break through. One of them goes to check on Jack.

The henchman that comes will find the blackened, burning humanoid that was Jack Empty pulling himself up from behind the table. The only fully intact thing appears to be his eyes, a pair of hatred-filled orbs glinting in their sockets.

Jack doesn't move any further, turning to glare at the henchmen. "Fetch me some of Gordon's healing potions. Now."

They might not be in condition to fetch anything, as KR fires her netgun at them.

The forcefield does become more blurred and less defined in that area as the concentrated fire is applied, but it's all a moot point as the thing suddenly becomes much less of a forcefield and more of a controlled kinetic blast sent toward the henchmen, the center area of it weakest in strength thanks to the attacks on the forcefield, the outer portions strong enough to send a human of normal weight flying. The center's likely to only cause staggering at the most.

But the newfound lack-of-forcefield means the henchmen are getting a flame-jet pointed at them, DC moving the gun in a sweeping motion to hit as many of the henchmen as possible with it.

The henchmen spring out of the way - most of them, at any rate. A few get caught in it; they start shooting at KR.

The one tending to Jack is behind cover, and so is not threatened by the net. He nods sharply and moves off quickly to fetch a healing potion.

EDIT Never mind.

Jack takes cover behind his table, letting the henchmen sort things out for now.

Good lord, every part of his body hurts. Maybe some painkillers too.

((I sense much ninja-confusion in this thread.

From what I can tell:

DC forceblasts + firejets at the shooty henchmen while KR fires the netgun at Helper Henchman and Jack. Henchmen action unknown due to ninja-ing and confusion.

That's what it looks like to me, at any rate.))
