I mean, I appreciate what you've done before this all happened and I'm not going to pretend we're not friends or something, but it'd be a tad masochistic to continue to allow you to conduct your mission, not without some modifications in place.

Similarly, I can already tell there's no way I'm going to be able to feed you falsified info on AMEN activities to trick WATCHTOWER, not when we're both so painfully aware of what you're doing here.

I could rat you out, but that would probably kill you, and mean I don't get invited to the next WATCHTOWER Christmas party. And taking you as a hostage will certainly go wrong, given the mess we've had around here just trying to hold onto Whatshisface.

Hmm...and there's absolutely no chance you'd be willing to simplify all of this by switching sides, right?

Ilpholin in the meantime, turns to leave the base. Stuff to do, Matrons to see, Fathers to betray, and Brothers to capture. She had hoped to get Becky to do the last part for her, but she never showed up after the Black Dragon Inn. Ah well.

"What are the chances it could be directed away from some of the more reprehensible acts? Jack's obsession with little girls, for example. Or the whole 'conquering Inside' thing. You have to realize that neither of those are going to end well."
