    Spoiler: Update 4.7.2014
    Show
Wow.. That.. Really caught me by surprise. I wasn't expecting the main (sort of) character to get maimed. Especially right at this moment.. Still feeling safe around Shadnyarune, Mel?

Though Ariel can shapeshift.. Do you think she could still save her arm with that?

Btw, I really hope that Kalki's next move is not to kill Zhor, I kinda like him.

It depends on how much she's improved.

I'm pretty sure there's a strip when she and Faen are still kids, where Faen asks if her shapeshifting can be used to heal her own wounds.

I believe Ariel said she can hide them, but not actually heal them. (The only reason given as to WHY was that trying apparently hurts too damn much.)

So I guess . . . Maybe it'd be like trying to reattach someone's arm with duct tape? *shrugs*

That the authors are taking a week-long vacations. The next six updates will be chibis.

In theory Ariel could regrown a new arm. She just does not know how. Another option is a biogolam arm that she can absorb. And GO ZHOR. I hope he does not get killed. He is about the only guy in this series. Lu is pissed. Wonder what the demon thinks. And Mel you are useless. Snads isn't going to do anything I bet, or WAY to little WAY to late.

There is one other option. Ariel goes One Wing Angel http://www.drowtales.com/mainarchive.php?sid=5026

The earth thingy is the Allmighty FLOOR DRAGON!

Really, it's a "traditional" (meaning nondemonic) summon. They are fairly similar to elementals in D&D. (The Turtle that Keil & Co arrived on is a Traditional Summon as well). The more powerfull you are, the bigger and stronger the summon you can get. Someone rather powerfull created the Floor Dragon, best guess is that Snads finally did something. Lots of speculation on why she waited so long if it actually her that did it.

There was a way of speech about something hitting the fan, but I suppose Ariel's arm hitting the Zhor also has the same meaning.

So, bets anyone? Is Ariel going to take it or not?

I hope she wouldn't play along with Snad's schemes so easy, but who knows. Ariel's is not exactly the sharpest mind around..

A bloodbath for who though? A certain member of Ariel's team was having a "vision" and should know what happened. Kalki might be in for a surprise.

I hope so, I really wouldn't mind to see her getting a taste of her own medicine.

But I wonder if all of Kalki's actions are of her own doing or part of Snad's plot. She was very quick to offer Ariel this solution of getting her arm back, though it might just be an opportunity she grabbed.

Also, Kalki attacking the Shagress might serve her purposes as well, especially since she can claim 'innocent' and place the whole blame on her crazy daughter if need be.

You know, there are a few duels that should happen (because they would be beautiful).

The first and most anticipated is a Quain - Sarv rematch.

A good one would be a Snadya - Sillice, but I think that there are so many wanting to kill her, that it would end up cluttered with Nishi, Mikilu, the Kyorls, the Vloz, the Beldrobbaen, and who knows who else. I do wonder which side Mel would choose.

But one I'd like to see is a Kalki - Kadara match. The two unconventionally bad girls of the Sharen seem like perfect opponents, and also have a good chance of being in the same building at the same time!

Frankly I don't see a Quain - Sarv rematch. Sarv is broken. She FINALLY got it through her head that she &%%# majorly, and that it was Snads that is the root of it all.

Ariel finally put her brain in gear and wants to get the heck out of Dodge. But now we have feathered intruders all over the place. (Hoot!) What's scary is that Khales dropped being Demon Lu to give Ariel advice (Good advice at that ). It was risky as all heck because certainly Faen noticed something and Zhor might have as well. And why would Khales want to help Ariel? Feels other shapeshifters are kindred spirits or something? I am really getting the vib Khales is playing her own game.

Well, if Snadya's twin had the same abilities Ariel had, she may be plotting something, if not for herself, maybe for another demon, like gay auld Mal'kaisar'as.
