Nadas lived underground pretty much his whole life. Life jackets never entered the equation. He fumbles to get it on, though appears to do so... semi-satisfactory. Kinda.

"This appears ridiculous."
Oh yes, cause flowing robes and itty bitty spectacles aren't ridiculous looking.

He hikes up his dress robe and gets in the boat as well.

[Morty]

Reelshka watches Nadas and Charity set off and heads there. Hi. Why are you getting into that boat? Like most goblins, she also finds boats a bit scary.

[Lake]

"You don't have to wear it," Charity says. "But a disturbing number of the ghosts around here drowned in the lake, so I don't like taking chances. That, and I'm a weak swimmer." Prefers to plop into a giant inflated ring and just float along lazily. Like her player.

"Oh, hi Reelshka. Want to come along? We're going to the island to do some magic experiments."

[ThePhantom]

[Infirmary]

Marley sighs.

"Butler, you know what a cane is. You seen me walk with it. The stick thing?"

And here's the part that Marley didn't like so much about Butler, he's not very smart.

[Morty]

[Lake]

Sure, why not. She figures she ought to at least try swimming. She finds a suitably small life jacket and awkwardly gets into the boat.

[Reinholdt]

[Lake]

"And I don't perform aquatic movements at all. In the future, I'll control the ability to fly though and this will all be quite unnecessary." That's the entire point of his extensive life-long studying. So he won't have to wear life jackets to cross bodies of water.

Nadas nods to Reelshka as Charity answers the question, watches her get in the boat too, then starts paddling with Charity. Stupid physical labor.

[Infirmary]

"Oh right sir! I don't have any of those either sir. But they may have one around here sir." Butler looks around the infirmary for a cane. Cause they might possibly have one. Maybe. Obviously this is up to ThePhantom. Cause Butler said it is.

[The Lake]

*paddle paddle paddle*

They arrive at the island. Seeing that she's the most water experienced person in the boat, Charity scrambles ashore and ties the paddleboat to a convenient stump.

Unless any mid-lake mishaps occur first.

[ThePhantom]

[Infirmary]

It likely that there is a few. They are in a forest. A number of them are sitting in an umbella stand sitting by the door.

[Morty]

[The Lake]

Reelshka gets ashore on wobbly legs. That was... something new.

[Reinholdt]

[The Lake]

Nadas climbs ashore, looking a little pale. For a drow, I don't think that's easy to tell. "I desire to return to the past and not eat before making this excursion."

[Infirmary]

Butler picks out a good looking cane and brings it to Marley.
"Here you go sir!"

[ThePhantom]

[Infirmary]

Marley takes the cane and smiles.

"Care to try some my pancakes? And let me give you the tour of this place."

Marley walks towards the door.

[Island]

"Oh dear... that bad? You'd better avoid sea going vessels." Charity says as she helps the two underground dwellers ashore. "Why don't you sit down over here for a few minutes before we start then?" She indicates a convenient big rock, perfect for sitting on. Of course he might see the entrance to the underground chamber and want to go curl up inside it for a while.

Note: HT has no encounter planned for the underground chamber, though if someone else wants to invent one, they may feel free.

[Morty]

[Island]

Reelshka plops down on the ground just inside the chamber.

[Reinholdt]

[Infirmary]

"Well I was actually hoping to find Mrs. Amakirr sir. I need to discuss something with her sir. Do you know where she is sir?" Though maybe they'll find her on the tour.

[Island]

What can I say? Nadas is a wimp, plain and simple.
"Thank you." He prefers going into the underground chamber to sit. Get out of the sun, which really is kind of painful for him to be under. So down he goes next to the goblin.

[ThePhantom]

[Infirmary]

"Afraid not. I've been away."

Marley's hand tightens on the cane.

(I wonder, is Butler just as strong as he is when he left?)

[Morty]

[Island]

It's good to go underground just for a while, Reelshka says. Goblins aren't cut for swimming.

[Infirmary]

They will not find Happy, since she is in the AuxCave recovering from being electromacuted.

They could find that information out from Sunny, since she's hooked into the MagNet. But I don't think anyone else at GLoG knows.

[Island]

Reelshka and Nadas are probably trying to work out how they could manage to live here, without having to traverse the lake regularly. Perhaps some sort of ambitious tunnelling project?

Charity sketches a bit while she waits. It's a nice summer day, and she feels in no rush.

[Reinholdt]

[Infirmary]

Nope. He's been nerfed or de-powered. No more super strength or super speed or undead essence things.
Butler is just as he was when he first arrived in ACRO.

"Oh well maybe we'll find her on the tour sir."

[Cave]

"What's the purpose of swimming anyways? Aside from surviving if one should accidentally end up in a body of water? It makes no real sense. Stay inside, out of sight. It's the only sensible way to habituate."

[Morty]

[Cave]

Reelshka shrugs. The topsiders are weird that way. And if you run across a large body of water on the surface, you have to either walk around it, swim through it or perhaps dig a tunnel under it. Goblins tend to ignore underground lakes and rivers if possible, or build bridges above them.

[ThePhantom]

[Infirmary]

"Maybe we will."

Marley walks out the door, and waits for Butler before showing him around.

[Reinholdt]

[Cave]

"Unless you're capable of aerial travel you mean."

Nadas looks out at Charity, curious. "Why are you drawing?"

[Infirmary]

Butler will follow Marley on the tour, but insist they return to the Infirmary at the end, so Susan and Quinn won't be left hanging mid-conversation due to deadtime temporal antics.

He doesn't use those words.

Sunny is sitting in one of the Adirondeck chairs on the front porch of the Main Lodge, working away on her laptop.

Charity will not be posted for again until Reelshka and Nadas leave the cave.

Or she will. cause she got ninjad'.

"Because I'm an artist." She's just drawing a view of the campsite from the lake.

[Morty]

[Cave]

Reelshka snickers. Few people are. She pokes her head out of the cave to see what Charity is drawing.

[ThePhantom]

Marley shows Butler the cabins, the lake, the water slide, the main gate, and pauses at the guest cabin.

"And this is the guest cabin. Now, there's often a lady in a faded red dress in there, and a lot of times she'll be looking for her violin. You should not help her with that, if you value your hearing. She's very bad at the violin."

[Reinholdt]

[Cave]

An artist? Huh. Nadas never understood that fascination people seem to have with pictures and paintings.
"As a profession?" He asks, kind of surprised anyone can make a living doing that. He should talk. Reading books doesn't exactly bring in the cash.

Nadas comes out of the cave, feeling much better now.

[Guest Cabin]
Why there's a small shout and curse in there. Sounds like someone inside stubbed their toe. Silly Reinholdt, why are you stubbing your toe?

"I guess so sir. If you say so sir."
But how can anyone ever get better if they aren't allowed to practice?

[Morty]

[Cave]

Reelshka also leaves the cave. That's a nice drawing.

[Island]

I think maybe the Evans sisters have a trust fund or something. Interns aren't exactly known for being financially solvent either.

"I make enough to get by," she says. "Oh, thanks, Reelshka."

[ThePhantom]

True, but she's very bad at it, its one of the reasons why she's dead in the first place. Marley guides Butler to the main cabin.

"And here is the main cabin which is the last thing on our tour. Hello Charity."

Marley waves at Charity.

[Main Lodge]

Charity is not here. But Sunny is, so I will assume you meant her.

"Hi... how do you know my name?" Sunny says, not recognizing disguised Marley. IZK-alpha moves to be between her and the two men, one of whom is alarmingly underdressed.

[Reinholdt]

[Island]
"Well, whenever you're ready to proceed."

[Guest Cabin]
Reinholdt falls back on the bed, twitching from the Liquid Agony. "Stubbed his toe". Ha!

[Main Cabin]
But Charity, the drow Nadas, and the goblin Reelshka are on the island in the middle of the lake.

Butler remembers Sunny. I believe they didn't get along, Sunny terrified of him for being half-naked and Butler hating drones, but I don't remember the exact encounter.

"Hello Sunny ma'am."
