I think it was supposed to happen during / after a festival of some kind, some time into the school year, but since we have all the characters and requisite ghost in school right now, I think it would be the least trouble if we got over the haunted school plot right now.

Frankly, from what I can tell, in-class RP seems to be stalling a lot of people out. Mixing some action in is good, so the sooner the better.

And now that I think of it, is it that hard to have something weird happen in school which isn't spirit-related? We might need a few such events to fill things out.

We could skip to lunch now, if people don't feel they can do much of note while in class.

Prime, the issue is that we're trying to actually accomplish something directly plot related. We're wanting to, in fact, get some action.

I'm not completely against general interaction, but...there's only so much we can do with it. Especially when they're just teenagers sitting around having lunch, without any wacky powers and hijinks involved.

We already kind of did small-talk. Why can't we just jump to "small talk that happens right before the action"?

I mean, let's be honest. While we don't want the kids dimension hopping like Team Masato in the old game, I don't think we really want to do a huge amount of time in HS, either. "Slice of life" is good in small doses in a game like this.

Right now, this game needs a kick in the pants. Getting the meat of this 1st plot moving will give it that.

Keep in mind we've recently had... at least 5 people drop out for whatever reasons, mostly because nothing was happening.

I've been chatting with Frozen about the KC aspect of the plot, but now I'm uncertain about how to play out what has been discussed. Toss me a line Frozen, let's iron this out.

To me, the direction of Kido Corps seems rather straight-forward - it will descent into the barely controlled chaos of poorly managed renovation, meaning such funny things as no running water or electricity for those living in the area, routine schedules going all to hell, kido-related explosions and stray monsters, etc. Really, one escaped Hollow from their basement would be enough to feed a small plot on its own.

Especially since Edge is supposed to control the construction division, and he is absent!

I'm currently waiting for kraz before continuing Sayuri's quest for vengeance. I think we can involve nobility of Seireitei in it at some point, to get on with our Takeshi related plans.

Overall, much of that plot will depend on other Kido Corps players describing what effects the whole hurdle will have on them. There's only so much we can do together.

As the SS thread doesn't seem to be moving much, I'm still partial to timeskipping it by few days to get it out of stalemate.

When Ayase entered the classroom she gave "I couldn't find anything" as one of the reasons she was late. I had meant for her to lose her phone somewhere at home, and find it when she returned in the evening.

An assassin in the MW for MW characters, or in SS for SS characters?

Either or. The assassin in question is Armin, so I imagine if someone wanted to hire him to assassinate a SS character, his employer would also have the means to get Armin in and out of Soul Society.

I figure, "Assassin coming" would be a good way to kick some sort of investigation plot into gear, even if it only leads to some minor villain.
