I guess that’s not really an excuse, but I did say these would be sincere.

I LOVE IT! I just want to know... will there be a sarlacc or a rancor?

    ENTERTAIN ME!

Pardon me while I get the popcorn for the midweek games.

So, how good is Roy compared to the average fully armoured elite gladiator?
There y'go thinking real-life and not D&D. Odds are good that the average gladiator fighter is a level 1 or level 2 with some training. Roy is a double-digit level fighter. He could own them all with an improvised weapon, AC bonus to the mooks notwithstanding.

    Respectfully,

Of course, Tarquin would NEVER lie to anyone about anything! It's just not proper!

He'll just use misdirection and half-truths.

Anyways, Roy has plenty of Fighter levels, and most of his combat threat is flat damage from Power Attack. And Belkar is, as always, a sexy shoeless god of war. The worst that could happen would be...

Wow. Your new update speed is godlike, Rich.

The mystery of Mr. Scruffy's whereabouts is resolved.

And everyone has gotten very good at counting to 25. Go team! It's actually kind of depressing how much more competent Roy and Haley are than Durkon.

Hah. I like how Belkar points out it would be rather easy to kill someone with a wooden sword.

I bet Belkar massacres most of the gladiators. Hilarity ensues. Roy probably will fight him too.

That was funny. So obviously, the way around the "legal issue" that Durkon has a problem with is for Roy and Belkar to fight their way to freedom. I'm looking forward to the arena battle.

Also noticed Scruffy and Blackwing aren't getting along...

I think it's one of his toes. You'll notice that one of his feet has three toes and the other has two. Either Mr. Scruffy has been particularly violent, or it's a minor art error. Probably the latter.
