Rynthel stands, grunting, and moves in closer.
SpoilerStand from prone, move to -B59(Sorry, not enough movement to get to -B60 to flank and I want to leave -B58 open for someone to actually benefit from since I can't attack this round.)

Re: [4E] Tomb of Horrors IC
A faint click can be heard within the automaton before the gears start churning harder. "Automated Repairs active". He looks to the angel. sending a telepathic mesage to his allies.
~Stay seperaed from the statue. The angel can attack from anywhere beside it. I will attempt to remove it from the statues side, but this will render the blade spell useless momentarily.~
He sicrles around the angel, flanking it with Travok's assistance, striking at it, attempting to lure the angel back away from the statue.

Re: [4E] Tomb of Horrors IC
Ghamed slowly walks next to the statue.
"As I thought," he says, "we can also benefit from the arcane power of this statue. It creates a brief time-space rift that allows any sentient being -who acknowledges the properties of the device- to teleport a close distance."
He stares the statue a little more. "I can see now what the angel used to escape and switch places. Interesting. That means the creatures have been here enough time to study the features of the suroundings. Let us be on our guard, comrades, for the angel could re-appear in any given moment..."

Re: [4E] Tomb of Horrors IC
Ghamed
Spoiler
Touching the statue gives one the ability to teleport to any place on any statue in this room, including the same one.
From this, you deduce that there is at least one other statue like this in this room, and that is where the angel has gone.
Note from the DM
Spoiler
If anyone is going to use the statue to follow the angel, I'll allow you to make a sort of "saving throw" so you won't land smack on top of him. This gives you some degree of control.

Travok stares at the statue, then says, "I'll go first. I can take the most punishment, I think." He waits to see if anyone has any objections.

Re: [4E] Tomb of Horrors IC
"No objections I have, but two words of advice instead," says Ghamed. "Firstly, there should be at least another statue in this vast dungeon; a statue with the same properties as this one. The angel must have escaped there."
Ghamed takes a brief moment before continuing. "Secondly, I think the angel should be ambushing you once you get there, so prepare yourself, be careful, and we should all follow as soon as possible. Even the idea of someone accompanying you right this moment is feasible."
SpoilerI think it's recomendable for Travok to ready an action before teleporting out, since the angel will ambush anyone 'porting there.Last edited by Belthasar; 2011-02-24 at 02:35 AM.

Re: [4E] Tomb of Horrors IC
"It is a lot of mental effort to use it," Ghamed replies, "so I think you would probably come back after the angel hits you with his powers."
He thinks for a brief moment. "I think it is better for all to stick together. We need everyone help if we are going to defeat the corrupted immortal. We could not assure that the angel would pick the bait up if you decide to lure him here..."
He continues: "The light should not be a problem; I think KT has a device able to illuminate a wide area, but if you think you would need an extra help, I could light your weapon with ease."
SpoilerI could cast Light on Travok's weapon if he wishes.===================

Ghamed waves his hand. Instantly Travok's hammer emits a bright light, enough to illuminate a small room.
"That will do," he says. "I will wait for the signal of Desrook."
SpoilerThe light spell should last five minutes, and has a area of 4 squares centered on the weapon.
Also, with this final minor action, I already completed my turn this round so I have to wait for the next one to follow anyways.Last edited by Belthasar; 2011-02-24 at 10:27 PM.

Re: [4E] Tomb of Horrors IC
Travok
Spoiler
You get pulled in different directions in complete darkness, attempting to gain some sort of control over your movement but you are unsuccessful.
After what seems like an eternity, but was really just a few seconds, you emerge in a narrow corridor, pushing something out of the way as you appear. You realise what it was you just pushed, it was the angel and he's right in front of you!
He seems to be standing on some sort of intersection, with a passage towards you, another heading north and a third behind him.

Re: [4E] Tomb of Horrors IC
Desrook
The dwarven reveant will wait until Travok's been gone for six seconds, as the party agreed, until he goes in after him. In the meantime, he'll move back, pick up his hammer, holding (but not wielding) his crossbow in one hand, and the move next to the statue.
Move Action (either 1 or two): Move back to (-F)54 and then to (-D)58.
Minor Action: Grab Warhammer on the way through (I am assuming this is okay to do mid-move action. If not, it is irrelevant this time, because I can take two move actions.)My Homebrew

Arthur
Arthur moves up to the group feeling sick as he senses something unclean wash over him, he says to the group. "I think that might be the best cause of action. I just felt, disturbed as it were, something is not right here."
Looking over Rynthel Arthur grimaced. He had asked Pelor for a lot today, and this required more than just prayers. Starting a prayer, Rynthel would find his wounds disappearing and reappearing on Arthur. Arthur himself was healing these new wounds on himself as best he could, however it left him little time to see to his past wounds.
