Al sighs. " Oh, alright then. I guess I have no choice then. " He says and opens the door. He waits a second and then steps in and walks over to Palta. He holds out an empty hand.

" No hard feelings? " The scientist says. Though as soon as she looks at his hand or goes to grab it or anything like that she might just feel a syringe get thrust into her heart.

[Al's Lab]

She suspected he would try that. But, she's not a fighter.

So, when the needle goes in, she draws a sharp breath. Her glow fades a little, and Al might even feel the energy around her fade a little.

Her body slumps over, unconscious.

[Al's Lab]

Al lays her gently back onto the bed and ticks his tongue a bit. " Oh, dear, you even saw it coming and didn't do anything about it. Poor, poor thing. Well, can't make an omelet without cracking a few eggs. " He says and takes out a few more empty syringes.

The mad man will start to poke around her trying to find some other sources of magical power. Mainly lower abdomen, stomach, head, and then finally taking some from her heart.

Al makes sure to not take too much but will take enough for his needs.

He will find that the only source is her heart. Everywhere else gives the same result as her arm did earlier.

Al thinks about that for a second but then pushes it aside. He needed to put this away for the moment and then get some sleep.

Like me! I need sleep.

And Palta lays as is.

When Al goes upstairs, he'll find Delta already laying on the couch. Everything is cleaned up and ready for him to go to bed.

Al goes to bed and then wakes up the next morning thinking about the same thing. How to manipulate Palta and the life force power? It is quite the conundrum and it seems like he will have to dig up information somehow.

When he wakes, he'll find breakfast ready for him. Delta made scrambled eggs and sausage.

[Al's Lab]

Al quietly and quickly eats his breakfast. He glances over at Delta. " I have a question for you Delta. Do you have any idea how you would control raw divine magical power? "

[Al's Lab]

Delta shifts a little, kind of taken by surprise.

Uh...well... He brain starts running through the various files she has, searching for possible answers. Maybe put the power into something? To channel it?

[Al's Lab]

Al thinks about this and nods. " Hmm, interesting. That might work. " He says as he continues to quietly eat.

Delta watches him for a moment.

Does...does this have to do with the woman that was brought in yesterday?

[Al's Lab]

Al nods as he finishes he breakfast. " Yes, in fact it does. If you would be so kind to take care of the things up on the first floor today, I believe most of my time will be taken up trying to get things working... " He says and stands up after wiping his mouth with a napkin.

Delta nods. Okay.

If...if you need help with something...I can help...if you want...

Al shakes his head. " No, no, just making sure nothing explodes on the first floor or goes wrong or anything. " He says and starts to walk downstairs.

Delta nods again, then starts on her chores.

Al goes downstairs and checks on Palta. After that he takes out the liquid he extracted from her yesterday.

She still seems to be out. No signs of any changes in anything.

Al decides to start working on someway of channeling the energy.

First attempt to try and channel it: Paint it on a metal rod. See if there are any changes.

The liquid sits on the metal for but a moment, then seems to evaporate.

[Al's Lab]

Al humms to himself and gets an idea. This time he brings up several ruins up on the computer. Ruins made to store and use magic as enchantments on items. He then pushes some keys and walks off to a different part of his lab.

There in the other part of his lab is a laser cuter made and used for engravings and what not on various materials. When it's done Al now has two rods, one of metal and one of wood, with the ruins on them.

The scientist then takes the liquid gathered from Palta and puts it into the ruins.

When the liquid touches the runes, it glows a little more, then seems to soak into the rune. Seems to do the same on the metal and the wood one.

[Al's Lab]

Al grins a bit and picks the wood one up. He gets a lab rat (an actual rat this time) that has been wounded. He points the rod at it and activates the magical rod.

The runes glow, and the wound slowly heals.

Not as fast as when he used the pure liquid, though. And, unlike the liquid, there is a scar left behind.

[Al's Lab]

Al smiles a little and nods. He goes back to his computer and brings up a few more ruins. Loosely translated these ruins say, 'let these two be as one, let them know what the other knows and feel what the other feels', plus the ruins for magic storage and activation.

This time Al decides to do it a little differently. Instead of having the ruins carved and then putting the liquid into them he has the liquid injected into the material right as it is being carved. It is basically a process that is a cross between engraving and tattooing.

Once he has the metal rod with the engravings he decides to test it on the rat he used before plus one other.

And how does he tell if it works? He cuts one and sees how the other reacts.

When used on the first rat, the scar gets smaller. barely noticeable now.

One the second rat, the healing goes much quicker. And like the first, barely a scar there.

But, again, not as goos as the liquid.

((Umm... does the other rat react at all? Also he used the rod first and then cut the rat))

((...okay, I'm lost. I took it as he used the rod on the first rat, then second the second one and used the rod on it. I guess I'm wrong?))

((It went, engrave cool new runes on new metal rod, then use it on first rat, then second rat, then cut either one and sees what happens. ))
