    Thumbs up Shome shtuff

Meh, I just like to draw something, sometimes, even if I'm no good at that, but it makes me feel like I get better with each image.

For these I used MyPaint and a Wacom tablet hooked up to my ArchLinux-on-a-pendrive-yes-it-really-has-no-disk-inside laptop.

The second one is good, but that first one is beautiful. As in, I would seriously frame it and hang it on the wall of my house. Good stuff.

There's a nice brush built-in in MyPaint in the deevad's set that makes strokes of ovals of random sizes, so I was playing with that to get the "cloudy" look. And it turned out it is as good for foliage as for clouds. So I told myself, 'paint a random landscape', and that's what turned out. It was really fast, finished like in 20 minutes. Unsuprisingly, I've drawn a setting that is quite typical of my home lands.

I hadn't yet know better than to draw at default zoom in MyPaint, which was 100% screen pixels. So I only have this image in as low-resolution as you see it... probably unusable for a larger display. And I would be rather ashamed to hang printouts of my scribbling on the walls :)
