    The drawback of this plan is that she's liable to be enchantress or warlock. Warlock we need to lynch, enchantress is a waste. I think we need to start talking about popping the lovers soon, btw. but I guess we can save that till the next day.

    Well, you guys reached a majority. Unlike WW or Martyr, Leeroy doesn't get to react to a lynch, especially not when he was (presumably) on for the lynching time.

    As the group bickered and argued, Sotek was forcefully shoved into a one way time machine and sent thousands of years into the future.



    "Well, looks like he's gone. Sucks for him." Istari said this, completely deadpan.

    "At least there are less people to sort through now." said VA_Beds.

    Suddenly, the forward time machine reappears, Sotek stepping out of it with a six pack in hand.

    "Anybody want some booze?"


    Sotek was targeted but survived the night. Day 4 has begun.

    So, I wrote up an analysis post on my assumption that someone was going to die. Under that assumption, there are a lot of possible worlds in which we are already checkmated.

    It's not quite accurate now, since, well, I was the one targetted, so we've got 12 alive still.

    That said, the short version: If the spy replaced a squishy witch, we're probably dead, if he replaced enchantress we're ok if we hit a squishy witch already, if he replaced warlock we're ok if we hit two squishy witches already ...

    ... but we can't really afford more mislynches because we know we haven't targetted any of the tanky witches, so my math is suggesting the spy needs to claim - remember, spy, if you're not the enchantress we're (probably) going to lose three townies when we lynch the lovers. If the Spy is the JW, well, that complicates matters a bit more, and if the spy is dead we're screwed. Likewise, I could be underestimating what we've done to the witches, in which case the spy would know and be able to decide to stay quiet.

    On a related note, we need to know who the lovers are - if we hit the enchantress we're gonna fall behind in numbers and it's really really close already.

    Also, InaVegt, your gambit: explain it now, please. I'll hold off on voting you for a few, but it needs some explanation.

    I was trying to draw forth some information based on people's re(actions) to my claim, with me giving as little info as needed.

    I didn't get the info I wanted, and as such, it failed.

    This game is proving exceedingly hard for me to analyse, which means it's no fun to actively play. As such, I'll be converting to sheep mode.

    That makes two of three lynches that people have claimed they didn't bother to check the thread before posting. This is fast becoming an recurring lie/theme. Use the preview post option, people.

    Also, yes, this game is very inactive relative to most games. There's nothing to analyze because there has been only one claim, and it's by somebody who apparently expects to post once a real life day.

    EDIT: Not all PMs are game relevant. If they are, then the consequences will be unpleasant. If it is a PM about the game, but without info/asking for info, it may be OK; private discussions along the lines of "this is crazy" or whatever are fine, but I'd err on the side of caution.

    PM so the info is public:

    Hey, well if you're one of the Witches you already know I'm one of the lovers, if not you're on our side. Unfortunately the other lover Aemoh is someone we really don't want to die right now. So I suppose if Aemoh does get lynched or die soon I'll at least know you're a witch.

    I think we really cannot afford to risk lynching someone other than the lovers right now - if we hit the enchantress we're screwed.

    We most likely have the martyr still alive, though - he's permitted to go off on death, if I remember the rules correctly, so if one of the lovers is an important role, we can lynch the other one and have the martyr save the important one.

    OK update in response to the PM being posted: Presuming it's true, well, that kind of helps us, actually.

    it means the martyr is still up and kicking and we're ahead of matters by an NK.

    ... yeesh. WELL OK I guess we can possibly afford a mislynch.

    Also, the spy still needs to think about claiming. Numbers are a bit better now because we don't need to pop the lovers, but...
