Sarah appear to have finished her lemonade already.

"I don't know, Sarah. I suppose we could go out and do something...we really should head back to NO. But, ah, do you mind if I have a word with Vizek first?

Damon gets up and walks over to Vizek, sitting down next to him with his back to Sarah. He orders another drink and sighs, "Hey Vizek, don't think you've ever seen this form either, have you?" Damon's voice sounds different. Any trace of the hiss is gone, and it's noticably deeper, but anyone who has heard his voice a lot should recognise it, just.

Raz smiles, and casually leans back in his chair, sighing contentedly. He's getting a bit drunk by this point.

He reads Katie's aura some more

Relaxed, Open, Inquisitive...maybe just a little flirty

Her aura is easy to read now that she's had a few drinks, possibly because she's not being so reserved anymore.

"I think things're going to go just fine actually."

Katie and Raz are being watched by a man wearing chainmail with a red tabard over the top. Displayed very prominantly on the tabard is a black two-tailed scorpion. The man has brown hair and green eyes, and at his waist is a wooden club enscribed with many strange runes and symbols. Around his neck is a silver amulet depicting another two-tailed scorpion.

Damon gets up and walks over to Vizek, sitting down next to him with his back to Sarah. He orders another drink and sighs, "Hey Vizek, don't think you've ever seen this form either, have you?" Vizek turns to Damon "Oh hey..." He looks up a bit, "Uh, I don't believe I had the pleasure, looking good Damon. Where did you get?""

"Long story. Not an entirely pleasant one. Short version is, I gave a dragonborn a quick, merciful death to spare him hours of agony. Damon takes a sip from his drink when it arrives, "Y'know...Sarah didn't realise that I find her attractive even as a dragon...made it sound like it's kind of weird. Is it really that weird? I mean...I love her...why wouldn't I find her beautiful in every way?"

[Shadowcaller]

Vizek shrugs and takes the drink he ordered "Some people consider it weird to be attracted to other species, I doubt Sarah really is one of those but in this case shape changing sort of changes your sexual preferences in some cases. I admit thats most likely the case why I am who I am today." Vizek smiles taking another sip of his mug of wine.

"But anyway, there aren't a lot of humanoids that see dragons as sexually attractive, I have meet a couple though, great people, but sadly not very common, she's just surprised since it's so rare."

"I ssuppose...it's not dragons in general, really, just her. She asked me if I wanted to be a dragon, y'know..." Damon lets out another sigh and downs the rest of his drink, "I wish I could be one...it sort of feels like I'm forcing her out of her true form. She can't enjoy being a dragon around me, really. I...this must sound really stupid to you..." Damon grins sheepishly, glad that Sarah can't see him right now.

Katie giggles a little more, and nod agreeingly, though she has no idea what a "Barney" Is supposed to be. Or what getting out of dodge means, but she can gather what he means.

"Eheh...buuuut I think I've definitely maybe probably had my limits now, Raz. If I'm starting to compare the boss to a puppy, that is."

"Huh... you really want to become a dragon, I mean, permanently?" Vizek tone sounds pretty serious.

[Gnrlshrimp]

"Uh, yes. Of course. It'd make Sarah and me happy. And...well...Sarah's shown a lot of commitment to me, since no doubt many dragons look down on her for being with me. It'd be nice to show the same level of commitment to her..." Damon shrugs, feeling more than a little foolish talking about this. "I must sound so stupid right now..."

The man wearing chainmail takes out a crystal sphere. Those capable of sensing magic may notice that it allows somebody to communicate telepathically with somebody else; that same person may also note that the club is ensorcelled to make it harder than iron and also sturdier.

Vizek takes another sip of wine "Oh no, it sounds completely natural to feel the way you feel in that situation, not silly at all, sounds pretty serious actually...
There would be a way to solve it though you know, though thats only if your /really/ serious about it Damon."

"Yes Vizek, of course I'm serious. Are...are you seriously telling me there is a way to become a dragon?" Damon leans forward in his seat, eager to hear more. "How come Sarah didn't mention it?"

"Since this isn't what you would call common knowledge Damon, and not to get your hopes up, I'm not even sure it would work on a Zern, but really, this isn't something you just tell people lightly, there are dragons that can kill to keep this a secret Damon..." Vizek looks gravely at you, his tone now completely serious.

"Mmn...yes, I think a quiet walk could help me clear my head..."

She thinks something to herself, hoping it might be heard by him, but not sure if it will be or not.

Well...

That makes Damon fall silent for a few minutes. Clearly this isn't something that's meant to be done very often, if at all, and he gets the strange feeling Vizek is probably going against the rules for this to tell him.

He slowly nods his head, "I understand. I won't breathe a word of it to anyone, not even Sarah, unless you say I can. Are...are you sure you won't get in trouble for this? I mean, I want to be a dragon, but not if I have to keep it a secret from other dragons to keep you from getting in trouble."

Raz ... Can't read minds yet. Ah well.

He nods, stands up, helps Katie up if she accepts his gentlemanly offer, and asks

Where do you want to go? I'm not so familiar with the places that aren't pubs here. If you fancy just wandering, we wont get lost.

He taps his head

The man in chainmail nods, and begins to chant to himself. Those capable of hearing him due to proximity or supernatural hearing may recognise it as Abyssal, and if they also speak Abyssal, they may recognise it as asking for a being named 'Dalachrech' to intervene and put two people asleep. Unless they are quick, or manage to resist the effect, they may find themselves falling asleep.

Raz recognises the whole spell casting thing, and suddenly tries to grab grabs Katies arm and teleport. He can cast at speed of thought really, so I'll say its up to you, Earl, whether it gets off before they vanish. In any case, Raz's mental shield protects him from the worst

Katie, not being one who knows abyssal, or the warning signs of a sleep spell, is simply very drowsy all of a sudden, yawning heavily.

"H-how about we just head back to your place, Raz? I'm feeling very...s-sleepy all of a sudden..."

She does notice his sudden tug and urgency though, trying to shake herself awake, but failing. If he doesn't get them out of there, she'll be asleep for sure.

((Hmm...you know if two people suddenly fall asleep inside the tavern, I imagine the bartender might take note of it and do something about it.))

Vizek just looks at Damon for a moment and then nods "Okay, if you say you really want to change, to shed your skin so to speak, then I will take your word for it."

He pauses a bit, thinking about something, "Right... you need to contact the spirit world within the world I come from and there is only one place you can do that, where to veil between the two world have been broken long ago, Terra Morrin."

Either way, Raz will not be strongly affected by the sleep spell, so he should get them out unmolested.
