The islands are quite a ways away at this point. Anyone looking outside can see that you're already there, but the driver's looking for a place to land.

Kazmuk looks to the others and nods before strapping his shield firmly on his back and placing his helm on top of his head. "Well at least we made it in one piece this far." Kazmuk then adjusted the clasp that looked like that hand upon his shield and said. "Just think once we get this done we will be feating with a king!" Kazmuk was trying to keep the others cheerful.. the fact was they would probably go through hell during the mission.

Eventually the airship stops amidst the mountains. The day is young yet it feels quite drawn out already. Anyways, the cabin door opens and folds downward into a staircase to a rocky flat.
You got your Lost Mountain place, now get out before someone sees me. The pilot sounds more nervous than angry.

Yup. Lost Mountains. You look up and see the islands like large black dots moving across the sky. At the base of the mountain you bet they look much smaller.

As soon as everybody is out, the airship will take off.

Even as anxious as she is, and tired of that surly lizard, Maguvial is excited to get her journey started, and her spirits lift.
"Thanks Captain, may you have a safe journey home."
With that, she steps off the airship and breathes in the fresh air of the mountains.
Ah, what a site, it's good to be so close to home. (Maguvial grew up next to the mountains you know)
It's good to be back on the mainland again ain't it Zaq? Well, shall we all get started? We should head towards the nearest town in the direction of the mountains first and see if we can find out any information on the princess."

Kazmuk then thinks back on some other things he knows "From here we might be able to spot a road below... if we find a road we can follow it....bound to lead to a village as well." Kazmuk adjusted his gear and looked to Maguvial "Unless you are still wanting to head to this Derp."

That's not a town you've ever heard of. If anything, it sounds like a kobold town. But kobold towns in the mainland are pretty much non-existent.

(also, if you plan on having the bat scout for towns, what method are you gonna use to communicate with it once it returns? Masters can't speak with their familiar until 5th level and only Ravens can speak comprehensibly.)

Well, the bat has an intelligence of 6, so it should easily be able to display emotion empathetically. If I mention that I would be very happy to find a town nearby and have it scout above for one, it should display joy once it finds one, and we head in that direction. Um, I think.

You're at a rather large cliffside. On one side there is a nigh-insurmountable rock wall (it can be climbed, but the DC isn't cake) however you see a path that leads deeper into the mountainrange.

Maguvial sends her bat, Blackwing, up into the sky in hopes that it will spot any towns nearby.
