Correct me if I'm wrong, and I probably am, but isn't a Gaiden a background story? Because if I recall correctly, the Naruto manga had a Kakashi Gaiden story (which was when his best friend died) and the Tales of the Abyss manga had an Ion Gaiden (which was about Ion before the game actually started).

Izumi knows there's stuff she doesn't know, so if she is told there's going to be a 'someone's going to explain what happened' she'll let the presumably more knowledgeable person explain.

So, feel free to have Ayase phone her.

Well, you see, the current arc is "Sora, Beck, and All Spiritually Knowledgeable Go Do Stuff", and "Everyone Else Learns Stuff From Sayaka".

Because Izumi already knows about Hollows, she knows more then most of the others.

Also, it's very unlikely anybody would just call up their friend and tell her "ZOMG I SAW SPIRIT DEMON" for no reason. Besides that, Izumi wasn't at school the day we had Hollow Attack, giving her no reason to wonder what's going on. Just a shot in the dark, but I doubt she told anyone she was a Shinigami, making them think that she's "Totally chill, and doesn't need to be involved."

TL;DR: It's Sayaka's moment, and Izumi was absent.

Hello all, I have just joined. My name is Aaron and, I have a lot of experience in RP and i think you have a great looking community here, and i look forward to RPing with you all soon.

I have a character in mind, but i was hoping for him to be high level and while i know that might mean me no being invovled in fighting or anything for a while, I think he could be very good for non combat RP in the Seretei. H ewould be based off another character i made in another Bleach RP community, and while he would need to be adapted in a lot of ways for this Bleach world i think he could be a lot of fun to RP here. Here is a link to him on another wiki, just remember his power level and characteristics are based off of him being in that other RP community, I just wanted to share him to show my seriousness, and maybe some of his characteristics i would ADAPT for this world. Also, some of his stuff isnt revealed, because some of the RPs are not done yet due to timing conflicts with other people.

I am not posting this to get your approval, since i will obviously adapt him and the format to what you all do here. I just wanted to get the ball rolling...enjoy and i hope to hear from you all. And if you have any sugegstions or thought on this character, regardless of him being exactly who he will be here, i would love to hear some feedback, as you are all talented storytellers and readers.

Alright, I decided what should happen to Karite:

He gets a lecture, is about to be demoted when Natsuko discovers that the leader of the Strike Team, who Karite stood down went on the mission anyways.

Then he gets a warning, and she goes and rips into Akio, for, y'know disobeying direct orders from a superior.
