Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here

What're the plot clones about, out of curiosity? Are they like handy rules-of-existence-benders that allow you to randomly mooch around taverns while you're also off slaying the evils of the universe or something?

I'm thinking of bringing in a new character myself too. One with scope for accidentally interfering in all sorts of things! :3

I was thinking of doing that, but then I realized I'm way too lazy to get involved in the scope of things. ;p

Also, I think it's just a way of allowing characters to interact with more than one person at once, so that you aren't left with a character who isn't going anywhere...maybe.

Basically, yeah. Say if your character is conversing with someone that's deadtimed, and you wanted to play them somewhere else, you just do, jabs at continuity's rotting corpse optional.

Of course it can become a pain if used foolishly to clone someone say... 5 or 6 times at the same time and eventually something bad happens to one and you have to decide how it affects the others.

The safest cloning is a tavern clone that just hangs out in one of the tavern threads to interact with people while another clone is off adventuring. The most extreme can have you with multiple clones in the same thread. Not recommended for first time cloners.

Do not clone if you suffer from spinal injury, if you are pregnant, or if you think you might become pregnant.

Consult your doctor before cloning.
