"Fine. You get a chance, Jamie." Anchor lets her go, and steps back. Char should be fine in a day or two.

[lord pringle]

what happened? Char moans stumbling to the auditorium.

[The Bushranger]

"Thanks."

Jamie smiles happily at Allie, and offers Char assistiance in walking.
(Zel is free to follow as a deadtime zombie.)
"Emotional drain. Don't worry, you'll be fine," she says in a chipper tone.

[Recaiden]

"You're welcome. Once a person, that is."

Allie laughs and follows along.

What will that do to me? Char sighs.

"You'll just feel really nothing for a day or two. It'll come back slowly."

Black mist surrounds Char petting and healing her This is my "evil" magic

That's probably not even close to all the students, but it'll have to do.

[Auditorium]

The Admiral looks at the four kids coming in. "HURRY UP. You're going to be tardy."
You remember the last time you were tardy, don't you Jamie?

[The Bushranger]

"Well, we'll just have to make it good magic, then," Jamie says.

Eeeping as she hears the Admiral, and hustling to take a seat!

[Recaiden]

Anchor hurries.

She takes a seat being a genetically engeneered superweapon doesn't help

[Reinholdt]

[Auditorium]

The Admiral looks around at the 7 kids. What a motley bunch. They were losing students left and right. Or something. Well whatever. The Admiral goes through the motions of lighting a new cigar before heading up to the podium and turning on the mic, generating a fair bit of painfully loud feedback before it normalizes.

"Testing, testing."

Ah good.

"Quiet down everyone." Which pretty much just means Char as everyone else seemed rather silent at the moment. "As you all know, there have been some recent devastating attacks on these school grounds. As a result, we have been forced to deal with them for a bit. Long story short, classes have been canceled for tomorrow. All homework and tests will be pushed back one day." The Admiral waits for the responses to occur and finish up before continuing.

[The Bushranger]

Jamie looks a bit surprised at Char's comment, but stays quiet and listens intently to the Admiral.

Raising her hand.

"Is there anything we can do to help things out with cleaning up after the attacks?"

[lord pringle]

Char who is not claire screamers in joy.

[Recaiden]

Anchor just nods.

Molly looks relieved. Most of her classes are hard for her.

Decker looks overjoyed. And raises her hand.

[Reinholdt]

The Admiral seems to put on a cruel grin. Though his expression stays the same. I think it's the position of his cigar and how the smoke curls that creates it.

"I'm glad you asked Jamie. In lieu of the school day tomorrow, will be school spirit day. In which you display your school spirit by working towards making it look nicer. Participation in this special event is mandatory." In other words, tomorrow's manual labor day in which the various messes left behind are cleaned up.

It's a very special holiday called 'Janitor's day'. Or maybe Butler's day, but he's back at GLoG bleeding to death or something.

"Yes Decker?"

"Oh. I wanted to ask if I could go and visit my friends." Decker says, deflating.

[The Bushranger]

Jamie, who is likely about to get lynched for voluenteering everybody despite the fact the Admiral was no doubt going to spring this on them anyway, stays quiet and looks torwards Decker.

[Recaiden]

Anchor smiles, knowing there's not much she can do.

Char sighs at this. the mist does an I'm watching you at Jamie

[Reinholdt]

If Vincent were there, he'd be glaring at Jamie so hard right now she might explode in a ball of fire.

"No, but you are welcome to invite any of your friends to come participate with us." Of course, by us he means you. Unless you count supervising.

"Mister Davidson will handle assignments. Ghost Touch rags and cleaning equipment will be provided for our corporeally challenged students." Caroline's a ghost too! And also conveniently skipping school.

"Are there any other questions?"

Decker grins, deciding she's, totally gonna invite Butler and Kal!

the mist has manifested a bucket of water and is trying to drop it on the admiral.

[Reinholdt]

The mist has to actually float across the room and get above his head before that happens, right? Cause The Admiral unsurprisingly sees it coming as a result and with a few steps and a single leap from his place on the stage, he avoids the water and lands on the seat in front of Char, one foot on the seat, one foot on the seat's back, as he kneels down, glaring at her.
"And while everyone else gets to enjoy the rest of their day off, YOU missie get to start on that school spirit right away."

"DISMISSED!"
"'Cept for you."

[The Bushranger]

Jamie goes to stand, looking a bit worried, and heads over torwards Molly to make sure she's wound up.

Decker scampers off, and out of the thread.

I swear the mist did that on it's own! Char squeaks.

[Reinholdt]

"Uh-huh."

"Pull such a stunt again and you'll wish you were turned into mist yourself. Get out of here." The Admiral motions for Char to leave, apparently letting her off this time if only because she was pretty truly terrified. Or acted it. And first offense and all that. I wouldn't push my luck with a second one though.

Char who is most definitely not Claire runs off. Some mist stays behind.
