Hint: I miss the livestream, but I don't really miss Borderlands. It's fun in a "Other People are Playing this With Me" sort of way.

    Ingredients

    2oz Djinn
    5oz Water
    1 Lime Wedge

    Instructions

Pour Djinn and tonic water into a glass filled with ice cubes. Stir well. Garnish with lime wedge. Serve.

Ah, okay. Yeah I've been playing a lot of those recently (e.g. L4D2). I'm having a hard time picking up L4D2 or TF2 just because I'm so sick of playing those by myself now. So...

Blegh, it's looking like nobody wants Hats for Games on SPUF, so I'm outta luck on that end.

I'll probably end up borrowing a friend's copy or something, but it won't be Steam-enabled. How does that work anyway?

By the way, that Sam&Max game on sale looks pretty tempting, but I've never played any game in the series. Is it good, and understandable for a newbie?

I might think of Prototype if my main computer hadn't exploded and this one I'm on had enough power to even budge it. Alas...

    HL2:Ep1 10 pack for 16 bucks.

Likely a new Indie pack, as well.

I'd like to try Deus Ex.
It's a firstperson rpg, right? Something like that?
So if someone would just... go ahead and gift it to me... that would be great.

But what I'd really like is for the THQ pack to go on sale.
Think I might have to wait for christmas/post-christmas for that...

Uh... Steam is being stupid with searches.

Find Cog on the GitP group, or add... cogwheel_acc, I think. You'll have to add me so I can send you a copy of Deus Ex, since I can't find and add you myself at the moment. We Apologise For The Inconvenience.

I'll agree with Phase that if you haven't played it already, Arkham Asylum is a good deal for 10 bucks.

Sadly, no. Have it on Direct2Drive - the engine is murder on my poor computer, much like Bioshock 2. Laptop, you see.

You're wrong about the unimpressive lineup, by the way. Well, not really, but you missed one thing.

Audiosurf. It's brilliant. Get it. I'd get the 12 pack, but... well, 12 is astonishing amounts of overkill. Also 20 is a leeetle bit more than I want to throw around for this. I'm a miser like that.

Today seems pretty underwhelming, but all of yesterday's (nonpack) sales seem to still be in effect.

Now might be a good time to pick up L4D2 (6 Copies for $25?)

I am not a Batman fan. I am not a fan of superheroes or comics.

I played this game a bit on my dad's computer and was utterly astounded. I was laughing most of the time because it was the only way to process the sheer amount of awesome going on. It's that good.

I'll let someone less sleepy throw a review at you.

L4D2 is worth every penny. Well, maybe not every penny, but I got 120+ hours out of it so far, and I only paid $7 for it, so it's even cheaper now.

    Oh, I know. I got L4D, and it's a good game.

Suffers from the same issue as TF2, though, even when playing with friends. I just think "this is a good game. It should be fun. Why am I not having fun?"

That said, I already own it - my problem is more that I'm not going to spend $20 or more on a pack just to hand stuff out to people when I have already done so twice. Semi-broke, after all.

Maaaaan, 10-pack of Puzzle Quest? That's just evil. That game's crack - gifting it to your friends is dooming their GPAs to a horrendous death

Well, at least it's the second one, which is less addicting. Still, I predict a marked loss of productivity on the coming days.

**** Securom. Batman: Arkham Asylum is the single greatest super-hero game ever. Also the greatest fighting game, greatest RPG, and greatest stealth game. If Valve didn't exist this game would be wrestling Just Cause 2 for the spot on top of my "Best game ever" podium, and kicking it quite profoundly in the head.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is one of the best games of all time and you should totally buy it because you can hide on the underside of a ledge and pull a bad guy off.
