I don't care that Moff got dragged in. What I did care about was throwing chairs at characters' knees after they were going to walk off to a private conversation. It was a clear, deliberate, and painful interruption.

By an entire two minutes? Yes, I previewed, but I can't get from 'Raril mumbles in shock' to 'SRS BZNS DON'T INTERRUPT' without a road sign. And as far as I can tell, Art's complaints all seem to arise from stuff caused by cross-posting and ninjaing, not disrespect and godmodding. If I'm wrong, please speak up.

SotS made what I considered a frivolous complaint, so I responded flippantly. Then me and Moff left the thread, without having left any IC consequences behind. Then somehow that spawned this many posts of complaint? Srsly?

To answer your request, in a non-flippant manner: No.

Sorry to be so blunt, but you got the joke response before because it's not a reasonable request. Your character was in the public room of a tavern. No one is going to start giving advanced notice of their intention to enter a tavern thread or pre-plan their encounters with people in the public room.

If your character is in a private or semi-private location, such as a back room, alleyway, house, etc, then I will try to remember your preferences and abide by them.

Just as an outsider opinion, I have to say I *was* under the impression that the taverns were free game for people to just wander in. If I wanted a private scene I'd use Tags or a new thread.

And, if you'd had the Moff in there prior to my character walking out of the backroom and THEN you'd done it? I wouldn't have worried.

But having a character pop into a thread he wasn't in for the sole purpose of chastising one of my characters? In a fashion that could be taken as an assault on my play-style?
