Hmm... so when I was doing my Nexus Digest, I went back to number all my previous Updates in an organizational impulse that should have been used on RL stuff. I'd forgotten that on the first two pages, we used to give titles to the updates, and organize them more by plot than by character.

I wonder which way is better?

My definition of "wild hunt" is, roughly, what happens when roleplaying alone isn't enough social control to bring a RP criminal to heel. It's what happens when people bring in OOC to. . .resolve the issue. It gets ugly.

What "wyld hunt" are you folks using? White Wolf, various systems? The faerie host of folklore? Something else entirely?

On the Wyld Hunt: Wild Wolf. The Wyld Hunt is an organisation in the game of Exalted, and is an offshoot of the state religion of the Realm. This bit states that all non-Terrestrial Exalted are actually demons in human form, or Anathema, and must be hunted down and destroyed. The Wyld Hunt is the body charged with doing this.

They also get five awesome elemental martial arts styles.

I should totally make a plot about reviving the Wyld Hunt in the Nexus, except it would be dedicated to wiping out all Exalted. Except that I find combat irritating, especially at high levels, so I won't.

Same idea of dogging a body to death or eternity, but with more formal rules, limited membership, confined to a single universe, and less terror. Gotcha.

Well... almost. It's more that if you're an ass but good at swordplay, you can at least back your being an ass with some real skill. Wenomir's view on people can be strange sometimes. I should have worded it differently though... he still thinks Kay is a boophole.

If Wenomir ever gets wind of who Exalted are, he'll be happy to see them dead, but he'll be busy organizing the martial arts contest. And all my other characters would have no reason. So... not I.

Kazia would be my best candidate for leading the Crusade Against Nasty Exalted Scum, in that yes, she would kill Exalted just for being Exalted (whaddya want, she's Evil), but well... Despite her massive amounts of (paid for) hawtness, she's probably not the most charismatic person around. Definitely not leader material. Also enjoys working alone too much.

It's more like Exaltation being opposed to his entire personal worldview and the form of martial mysticism he still somehow subconsciously adheres to. Though KR being a bad influence might also be an explanation, who knows.

Given that there's been two mentions of a 'kill all Exalted' plot (Magtok attempting to put the contract and now this), I'm starting to feel 'why do I even bother?'

It seriously bugs me. Do I put out a 'kill all paladins' plot idea (bad example, given I don't mind paladins, but you get the picture)?

How is it any different than an invasion of mind controlled catpeople that attacked everyone for being non-catpeople, or a zombie apocalypse killing everyone for being alive? Evil people do evil things, ya know?

And Horngeek, I don't think anyone here is opposed to the Exalted characters. It's just that they tend to, IC, rub some people the wrong way. I certainly didn't intend to be hostile. Sorry if I came off that way.

KR neither endorses nor condemns xenocide, or other forms of mass-murder, preffering instead to judge on a case-by-case basis. I was just referring to her general callousness rubbing off on Wenomir. That he'd support a crusade against Exalted surprises me as well.

Please understand that I harbor no OoC malice towards Exalted. Didn't you see me gushing over them several pages back?
I understand if you feel that such a plot/character/organization would render the majority of your characters unplayable, but at the same time I'd appreciate it if you didn't assume that we're all out to get you/your play style.
