Re: Vampire IV: The Song of Night
The crowd mulled among themselves. They came to a decision quickly, but the one known only as [The Bushranger] would not go quietly to his death. He fought against the others, and in the struggle, seized up Dr. Alexander Pickman-Leng, snapping his throat before he was subdued, then bludgeoning Kenneth O'Rias severely about the head and shoulders until he fell to the floor. Not ones to let an opportunity pass them by, the crowd threw all of them outdoors.
Later, when they found the body of Sir Ruthven Marmaduke Fairfax face down in his oatmeal, they threw his body outside too.
The Bushranger was lynched.
Dr Alexander Pickman-Leng [banjo1985] was autolynched. He was a Vampire.
Kenneth O'Rias [Korias] was autolynched.
Sir Ruthven Marmaduke Fairfax [Thufir] was autolynched.
The servants moved some people around as several of the outbuildings have been declared unsafe. The following buildings have been condemned, their doors and windows boarded up.

Re: Vampire IV: The Song of Night
Twelve days and twelve nights the horror had been endured. Twelve days and nights of paranoia, betrayal, and murder as they sought the monsters among them.
Count Din Elfre sat in his throne in the great hall, a goblet in his hand from which he sipped occasionally. His eyes pierced the gloom before him; with the fires doused the only light came from feeble streamers of moonlight that managed to peer between the thick curtains that held back the cold windy night without, yet he had, over the last few weeks, become accustomed to this paucity of illumination, and could make out the shapes of the room with ease.
Shadows crawled along the walls, indistinguishable from the darkness around them; yet still they came, moving in complete silence, flowing down the walls and across the floor until they formed a roiling mass of darkness pierced by tiny crimson specks before the throne.
The Count lifted the mug to his lips and drank deeply.
"Once I had the rarest rose that
ever deigned to bloom.
Cruel winter chilled the balm,
And stole my flower too soon
O loneliness, O hopelessness
To search the ends of time,
For there is in all the world
No greater love than mine."
He then tossed the goblet to the side, where it clattered against the stone of the floor; rising to his feet with a dignity not yet betrayed by the vintage in his veins - he strode forth until he was enmeshed in the swirling mist.
"Thou'rt come to claim the prize."
There was no spoken reply, simply a continued roiling of the shadowy mass.
"You believe you have earned the reward. What have you done? Drawn the Inquisition into my lair. Killed several Stonemasons. Thinned the ranks of the nobles. Killed ... my ... pet dragon. Misplaced your own sire and his bride. Years of subtlety brought down in twelve gore-drenched nights!"
He glared at the others venomously.
"Give me one good reason I shouldn't have you all staked in the morning."
There was a slight occlusion in the mist, then the sound of a body hitting the floor.
The Count rolled the body onto its back with his toe.
"Hmmm. Desmond Carbery. Well, at least you remembered the kind of blood I like."
Desmond Carbery was killed by the Vampires. With this death, the number of Noble-aligned players became equal to the number of Vampires, giving the Victory to the Vampires.
The Inquisition completed its original secret goal of eliminating 60% of the Council before losing half of their team, so they claim a minor team victory. Sadly, they were not able to discover the last remaining Council member before the game ended, so they don't earn their "even better' victory condition.
The Doppleganger survived to the end of the game, but did not achieve his victory condition, despite many valiant efforts. As a neutral, he earns a minor victory for surviving.
The Lycanthrope died early on, and the list of the infected never equalled or exceeded 50% of the living playerbase.
Renfield and Mrs. Morris kidnapped Adelheid and escaped into the night before the monsters could claim them ... setting the stage for Vampire V: Paris by Night.

Notes
Spoiler
Due to the effect of the Doppleganger's Yours is Mine Ability, ThePhantom had lost his vampiric powers when he was lynched and showed up as a normal corpse.
On Day 6, the effect of a Renfield spell caused the lynch to go to the second highest vote target, thus Mordokai instead of Ghanz Nmi.
Injuries caused a small number of lynch votes to not count, but it was never enough to change the lynch result when it came up.
Intestinal Death Plague caused me to miss two autolynches. One was already dead by the time I got the records straight. The other was autolynched the following day.
5 players were lost to autolynch. It would have been 6, but one of them got themselves regular lynched before I noticed (see above). Not great, but not bad for a starting field of 34/35 players with loooong days and nights.
Event Roles:
The role of Bane King gave whomever possessed it an extra secret lynch vote; it also made them injury prone though they were not told this.
The Master Huntsman got a 3 day night kill ability (but never used it).
The Belle of the Ball had the ability to void one other player's vote each day (but never used it).

Re: Vampire IV: The Song of Night
Aww I only needed to steal on more ability too.
Lets see list of who I nailed.
Got ThePhantom(Dracula)
Gray Mage(Inquisitor)
Duneyrr(Illusionist)
Was messing around with Dracula's power and recruited PirateMonk.
Nailing Dracula early was great, I contacted him and we got into an alliance, but his early demise prevented me from doing anything and I didn't want to take the risk that PirateMonk had refused the recruitment and would get me lynched.

Re: Vampire IV: The Song of Night
Wait, we won as well? Sweet. I didn't think that we did, since I figured we'd have received a PM telling us that we only needed to leave the game. It was a fun game, a shame that I got the item from voting for Helgraf as mayor post-morten. It'd have been usefull.

Re: Vampire IV: The Song of Night
This was very fun, can't wait for the next one. Matron Violetta is sadly dead....but next time maybe something a little less obviously a vampire.

Re: Vampire IV: The Song of Night
Matron Violetta was turned into a Vampire while she had Leprosy this is true. However, she was not always a Leper, or a Vampire. No, at one time she was perhaps the most lovely woman in the world. Perhaps even more so then her lover Belle Smithson, secretly in the night she had told Belle that she loved her. The two had had a fling, never to teach eachother, for fear of spreading her dread disease, perhaps both.
At one point Violetta was a charming girl, and lovely, but the vampirism and leprosy had turned her bitter and hideous....
Yeah, I was enjoying it so much.
