Question: Why is Phione ineligible? It's base stats are equal to that of Glalie, and it really doesn't have that great of a movepool.

I would say give the E4 even more leeway than that, they are meant to be the top challenge. Or actually how do we pick who gets into the top 4 badass spots. Do we look at who built the most pain in the bum teams, or do the aplicants get the aforementioned exceptions to the theme rules to build a more powerful team.

Well it's up for debate, but I think that challengers should be able to register 8 Pokemon. (Maybe 10, depending on what people think.) That way they have some versatility. I don't want them to be able to walk over the gym leaders, but I don't want the leaders to be completely over powered so it's difficult.

I really don't like the idea of Gym Leaders having complete access to ubers... like wobbuffet and arceus...

And I'm thinking once I have the top 12, we will have to sit down and just decide who would be best for the spot, and if worst come to worst, battle it out.

Haven't you noticed that "ineligible" Pokemon are all only events?

EDIT: I say give challengers 8 Pokemon, and to decide the Elite 4, we have a...Round Robin I guess? Top Four gets the spots! Any ties, a battle to decide? Anyways, if 1 Pokemon leeway isn't enough for an Elite 4, would 2 Pokemon be enough? That would make their flexibility leagues, columns, and digits greater than those of Gym Leaders with their Total Themes. And I would like to reaffirm that I strongly, STRONGLY disapprove of Uber use. So, are we allowing those OU legendaries in or not? I'm hoping that we all have the rules perfectly clear soon.

Haven't you noticed that "ineligible" Pokemon are all only events?

Nonetheless, in my opinion, it really shouldn't be in that list. Particularly because it's breedable, thus making it fairly easy to obtain. Not to mention, you can get it from MPR, which is in-game.

Im looking at some moveset stuff for a possible team, Themed Fighting/Normal "Faster Than You" But i cant find a way to set my pokemon to 50 in the pokemon world team builder. Perhaps we might have to move things up to the 100. Doesn't seem like the worst idea to me since that's how pokemon are judged for tiers. And i think we will be able to work out a way to balance that with the aforementioned team building proposals.

Anyways, I am hoping the ineligible list is done away with and the Pokemon on it get scattered to where they belong.

If you mean Pokmon Online, Dragonus45, then you just hit to hit the advanced tab underneath the icon of your Pokemon.

We can definitely go back to the Uber/OU system if everyone prefers.

Not priority moves, just a name i liked, and all pokemon with high speeds. There are a few Priorities but not much.

Okay how does this sound for everyone:

Gym Leaders
Register 6 Pokemon
Max 2 Ubers (No Arceus, Wobuffet)

Challengers
Register 8 Pokemon
No Ubers
Max 3 OverUsed (Only 2 in battle at any point)

^Sounds really skewed in favor of the Gym Leaders. I'd say eliminate the Ubers altogether and allow challengers 3 OUs in battle at a time, at the very least. We don't want to make this TOO hard.

Hmm, the leaders do have their disadvantages though, cause they are restricted by theme. Can we settle on one Uber, so that way they can have a trump card.

That sounds good to me, but i still would like to lobby for a return to 100. If we want to use established tier lists we need to go by what they judge by.

Having pokemon at level 100 instead of 50, 50 was fine when we were going to do a pokemon ban ourselves. But if we want to use established tier lists than we should stick to what they based themselves on. The levels shouldn't be a problem with the system we have now. Also i really dislike the idea of ubers at all, just seems like that goes to far.

^I'm quite opposed to it as well. I'm sure you can tell. But I can live with it until we start getting complaints. I think the "Ubers" thing will drive people away.

I can't speak for the others, but I'd prefer not to have Ubers allowed.

yea that works well, i was just wanting to hear if anyone else had an opinion about the levels?

okay, I'm glad we got that worked that out. Hmmm, if we are using Pokemon Online, it is easy to change the level. We can try either... I just think that there might be a big difference in power. We can definitely try level 100 though.

So Gen V right? Because I can comfortably convert to Gen IV if the need arises.

If you want, you can use Gen V's. But since we don't have much metagame info yet, I would not advice it...

Since we are using a simulator, you can use a shiny if you want, but I wouldn't make my whole team shiny if I were you... like is lame

How the heck do some people use Gen V while others use Gen IV though? That's like asking the challengers to have two totally different teams. I think we should just hold a vote and decide on a single generation.

I just meant you could use Gen V pokemon. We will have to set ourselves accordingly, but I don't think many moves and abilities have been removed, so it shouldn't be a problem. (correct me if I'm wrong)

No, it's either Gen IV or Gen V. I can't begin to imagine what would happen if you let some of your gym leaders do Gen V while others do Gen IV
