Oh, well recruiting over. Talking with Magneto about the other members of his team. When that is over the rest of the roles will be sent out.

Actually I can only count 15 special roles in this game, I don't know where the others are coming from. Also it actually is 22 players I forgot to count you in my original list.

It started with a bang.

Nitro exploded in the MRD storeroom, destroying several records of mutants. Quicksilver ran in and picked him back up and took him to the rest of the group. “We have a reusable bomb here” remarked Magneto. “Let’s move to the next target.”
They got in the van and headed towards the next target, they hadn’t got very far when Mystique noticed that they were being followed. “I think the X-men are here and following us.” She said.
“Damn, I knew it was too good to last.” Magneto replied “Let’s lose them” he told Quicksilver who was driving the van within the speed limit and not liking it.
“Right Father” Quicksilver grinned and accelerated, quickly reaching the van’s top speed. The car following matched them turn for turn and started to draw closer.

“We need to hide, abandon the van in the next village.” Magneto decided. Soon the village came into sight. The van was left in the village centre and the Brotherhood of Mutants piled out and ran as a group into the maze of houses.

Following the X-men pulled up next to the van. Cautiously they got out wary of any trap. Wolverine did a quick search of the van and soon reported that no-one was in it. Professor Xavier searched the village with his mind. “They are here in the village, they haven’t gone far but we need to search for them. Split up and surround these buildings. They are in the area behind them.”

The X-men split up and started searching; Cyclops was the first to spot the Brotherhood. He quickly moved to attack and fired a blast of energy at them. Magneto was faster and ripped off a metal covering from a nearby generator. He used it as a shield and the reflective covering of the metal deflected the rays in all directions. One of the rays blasted in a window and carried on hitting a storage tank. This tank held an unusual gas which spread quickly and blocked any sight. The gas soon dispersed but left its trace on everybody. Each person’s appearance had changed completely.

A hidden PA system boomed out a message “Would everyone in the village please come to the square as an experiment has produced a problem.” When Magneto heard this he felt that the time was ripe to eliminate the X-men. “Split up and get to the square from different directions, we can infiltrate them and eliminate them. Remember the new forms of each other”

A crowd quickly gathered in the square and soon Sinister took the stage, “Well it seems my change gas was a success. The only problem is that I haven’t been able to find a way to reverse the condition, except by killing the subject, at which time they return to their natural form. It will take at least a week before I can get a cure, more likely two weeks. However each year a scout group camp in the field nearby and leave their tents with me. I’m sure they won’t mind if you borrow them until this is sorted out. I will supply meals and everything. Any questions?”
“Yes, how did you become immune to the gas?”
“I was working on a different project in my clean room and the gas couldn’t penetrate it.”
“How many villagers would have been affected by the gas?”
“There are only about 8 villagers left here as the rest went to a two week music festival in the next county yesterday. Why do you ask?
“I have been doing some counting, there were 10 X-men after the brotherhood, and there are more here than that. Even adding in the villagers we still have too many people. This means that the brotherhood is among us!”
“Well I have a simple way of finding out who we are I will just manifest my ability.” Zeb put his hand to his head and tried to press something on the side of his head. Nothing happens.
“Well I can do that” said Alarra and put her hand to her head and pressed something there but nothing happened this time either.
“We'll have to find another way, it seems the gas has stopped all sorts of identifying abilities.”
“Well, I wish you good luck, and hope that you soon find out who is who.” said Sinister as he left the stage and the mutants to their discussion.

*sighs* I see I'm still first in line to get lynched. I think the day might end too soon for me to say much else before it does so I guess I'll say what I have to now. Well I'm one of the people who has a power that the X-men side wouldn't want to lose. I don't really want to say more than that if I don't absolutely have to though. No point in helping our enemies have a better chance of finding specific roles.
