"Yeah, it focuses the radiation so that it doesn't leak if anything goes wrong with the lasers. I haven't named it yet, but it focuses ionizing radiation through the lasers and turns the target to plasma. Quartz was the only thing I found that stops radiation that hasn't been focused from leaking out and allows light to pass through while crystallized. Well, diamond, too, but it wasn't as effective."

Oh really? With that in mind...

"Oh? Your mecha? What do you need me to do? Some loose bolts that need screwing? Parts that you need some extra hands to help with?"

She smiles innocently. Accidental innuendo indeed.

Delta thinks for a moment, then shrugs. I haven't asked. But, if he can, I think I'm better at it. And I like it.

"Trust me, with something this big, a fifth or sixth hang wouldn't be out of place AND OF COURSE I'M JUST TALKING ABOUT THE MECHA!" Phil catches himself halfway through the innuendo. He's still worried that it will bother Minny.

"Well, of course you're better at it, silly. You're a girl!" Dani giggles cheerily.

"Ooooh. A phaser!" Erin says, grinning. "And you came up with all of this yourself? That's pretty amazing."

Delta grins. Aw, stop it. Men can cook just as well.

"Yes and thank you. Feel free to try it out," Phil presses a button and the target range slowly begins to fill with smoke. Mannequins move back and forth on little motors.

She blinks.

"...yeah?" she clearly does not understand any of the innuendo, or what else he would be talking about. Or at least, she hasn't realised.

[Al's]

Dani sticks her tongue out in reply.
"Nuh-huh! You should have seen Brendan's cooking when he lived at GLoG. He could murderate toast!"

Erin grins, raising the weapon, and taking an experimental shot at one of the mannequins!
Showing a perfect shooting stance.

Wait, let me rephrase that. On average, men have the same capacity to cook as women. She grins.

Phil admires the stance with a smirk on his face, but says nothing.
The...'phaser' makes no noise itself, but the target releases a LOT of steam when it is hit and turns into flashy glowy gas for a few seconds after being shot and probably makes a wooshing sound.
Also, it cools back down into a solid lump of ballistics gel after about five seconds.

Glad that Minny didn't catch his innuendo, he leads her over to the mecha, which looks like a smaller version of one of the Starship troopers power suits with the same color scheme as the environmental suit Phil made..

"That's better!" Dani grins back. "C'mon, while we're waiting on Lexie let's make some popcorn or something!"

Erin grins at the target for a moment, then raises the 'phaser' vertically and makes the traditional blowing-smoke-off-the-muzzle gesture.
"Sweet. I think I prefer my own gun, but this has a lot less recoil."

[Phil's Warehouse B]

"Ooh!" She exclaims, taking a look at the mecha, "So, what's it do?"

Delta nods, and will lead Dani to the kitchen.

It's a pretty nice kitchen.

Delta brings out the popcorn and sticks it in the microwave.

"A connoseiur of firearms, eh? That's...attractive, really."
Phil's grinning. He hadn't even tested that thing yet!

Phil's Warehouse B
"Well, I haven't hooked up any weapons yet, but it's supposed to provide armor while increasing speed and strength and reaction time and all that jazz," Phil knocks on the power suit's knee, "The wiring's gone a bit fitzy, though."

Minny looks over at him curiously.

"So.. you want me to get some of me to have a look at it?" she tilts her head, then moves around, taking a look at the thing. She bends over to get a closer look at the joints, trying to see if there are any obvious wiring breaches.

"Yeah, I just need the wiring in the chest compartment stripped and redone. After that, you can take it outside for a test drive," Phil says this all like it's ENTIRELY NORMAL.
Because for him, it is.

I think it's safe to say this isn't too unusual for Minny, who apparently had leaping lava pools and operating falling platforms as part of her training courses.

She nods. She's fixed stuff before!

"I can get some of me working on it right now, if you like. Is that good, boss?" she tilts her head at him.

"That'd be perfect," Phillip grins, "With someone like you around, I can do my work thousands of times faster! This is gonna be awesome!"

"A bit," Erin admits, winking, and setting the 'phaser' down. "So, you like a dangerous woman, then, I take it?" she asks with a grin.

"Nothing sexier. Seriously, you like cars, guns, and fondue, how are you not constantly buried in love letters?!?!" Phil looks entirely incredulous.
I love that word.

With that having been said, a few of the duplicates previously idling (having tidied some of the room) come over to the mecha. Phil is now surrounded by four of the girl, as they move past him to start taking a look at it.

The one self-proclaimed as his personal lackey is able to stay standing next to him while the three others start their work, smiling.

Phil smiles as he watches the work being done. He could do it himself with magic, but that's very draining and time-consuming.
"Wanna grab a snack? I've got a mini bar in the den."

"I keep my home address a secret," Erin says with a wink. As she strikes a pose. "I do, however, enjoy the attention of a strong, handsome, talented man every once in awhile..."

"Sure thing, boss!" she smiles brightly, seeming to love every time she gets to say 'boss'. It's obvious that she genuinely enjoys being a minion!

"Lead the way! Don't worry - I'm a hard worker, I'll be fine without me."

"Sorry you got stuck with me, then," Phil jokes.

Phil's Warehouse B
Phil will lead Minny up to the first room in the upstairs rooms, which has soft shag carpeting and a kitchen with a granite countertop and a large living room full of comfortable furniture and gaming consoles. Clothes are thrown about all over the place, and due to the dim lighting the room is rather dark, but it has a cozy feel to it.
Phil heads into the kitchen and opens up the mini fridge built into the counter, revealing his stash of junk food.

Minny skips over to him, taking a look at all the food inside his stash. She takes a few seconds to peek around, taking a look at the room. It doesn't look bad!

She smiles at him.

"What do you think I should have, boss?"

"Oh, I don't think that's such a hardship." Erin winks, and leans back against a table, just so. "Now, you being stuck with me...well..." And she twirls a lock of white hair around a finger, almost shyly.

"Something tells me that 'phaser' you had so much fun with couldn't unglue me, sexeh ladeh," Phil smirks.

"I've always enjoyed the mini-donuts, but today I'm going for some nutty-butties," Phil grabs the delicious little debbies from the mini fridge and unwraps a pair, chowing down.

Erin giggles, blushes a little, then pushes off from the table she was leaning against, walking torwards Phil with a smile...
