Are you perhaps thinking of 'pestilence'? A famine is just a shortage of food. And no, Moroe's power won't be advancing; Its only purpose is to provide something for her to resent.

Souji and Ishimaru's attention might be grabbed by a girl walking near them. She wears jeans, a red tank top, and a denim jacket. Her hair is short and white, and her eyes silver. A crystal hanging from a string around her neck reflects what light there is.

She looks around as she walks, seeming to be slightly lost or something.

Tokiwadai students aren't actually allowed to wear casual clothes most of the time. The school's dress code requires them to be in uniform even when not attending class.

Apologies in advance for yet another clarification (you must be getting a bit sick of them by now), but did you mean 'Just moved to Academy City'? If not, please ignore the rest of this post.

As a rule people can't already be Espers when they move to Academy City, because Academy City is the place that creates Espers. In other words, Krystal would have to have lived there for at least a few months in order to have been through the Power Curriculum Program and gained her abilities. The only exceptions to this rule are the insanely rare natural Espers known as Gemstones, but they come with some very heavy baggage.

This is actually a really common blind spot among new players, so rest assured that you're nowhere near the first one to miss it. Also, Krystal can still be a new student at Tokiwadai; Just not Academy City as a whole.

To anyone curious, I'm still making my character, so I didn't just leave. Just that school and stuff have kept me away from actually sitting down and focusing on writing one. I'll probably have it done once my life calms down a bit. Just as well, I'd hate to keep things stalled.

I did make some progress, though. I managed to decide on Inanimate Animation for an Esper ability. So there's that. Still gonna take some fleshing out though.
