Maxios, I think most of people are trying to make constructive points, or just bantering. Remember the whole Raz is a slut thing recently? It's just intended to be friendly banter, not direct assaults on you. That said, its hard to judge tone over the net, so I apologize if I've said or done anything that came across nasty.

That said, you should probably listen to the advice people are given you.

Meaning that you should just ignore me when I'm being mean because usually it's just getting frustration out so I don't do stupid stuff IC, and wreck the RP.

Yeah, I think that if you stopped insisting Maxios the character wasn't incompetent, you'd have a lot more fun RPing him. Honestly, he's the #2 most amusing character in the Nexus in my opinion. Why do you think Mercury does practicaly nothing but mess with him?

I would actually laugh if it became canon that Maxios (The character) thought he was a mastermind but really was bumbling and incompetent. It would make a tremendously fun character!

Maxios as a comedy character will probably fare much better. Like that one character The Q had or whatever, the guy with his soul in the hat.

More pathetic than a jerk. He honestly has lost a lot of his ability to control what he does, but he uses it as an excuse even when largely in control. He feels pretty bad about it, but more in an emo-goth way than an actually sorry way.

Since we're on the subject of giving advice: if you want to play a character who's competent and taken seriously in the future, don't tell us that he's competent and to be reckoned with. Play him like he's competent and worthy of respect, then leave it to the others to form their opinion. Think your posts through and make them longer. It'll work, trust me.
